if there really isn't one then shocking nath did not make one. =\

Hull>Stoke>WBA in my opinion.

I reckon Stoke have a good chance of staying up this season. They have a good enough squad and have a great manager in Tony Pulis.

Still too early to call who'll go down this year. None of the promoted teams look like they'll do a Derby.

I'd like Stoke to stay up, actually I'd like to see all the promoted teams stay up.

Get in you Potters! Great entertainment, hopefully they can build on this win and go on a run like Hull are doing.

Tom Soares played well yesterday. Good to see a bit of pace in the side. Abdoulaye doing his usual beasting act too. Best man ever.

Great for Rory to get a goal and prove to people we can play and he's not solely in the side for his throws. Which are still ace. :smug:

That second penalty though. :fplm: Cracking effort near the end from Ric though, which cannoned back off the woodwork.

Good to stay in touching distance of teams though. Citeh away and Sunderland at home coming this month, four points from that would be excellent.

Surely Higginbotham should get to take the second penalty too, is it not a little selfish of Fuller to take it? (although he wasnt on for the first so he may be the regular taker i dunno, thought that was Lawrence though)

Penalty takers are Lawrence, then Fuller, then Higgy. That's what Fuller's like, but I still love him. :smug:

Wan't exactly a poor miss, he hit both posts. I think he needs to start up front with Sidibe, who i admit, i didn't rate before the season started but he's like Stoke's Heskey. He's contributing more than Kitson who I thought was going to be a really good signing. Just needs that first goal maybe.

Trouble for Kitson is at Reading he was getting tons of balls in the box through Hunt, Little etc. And that's how he plays. With us though, most of our stuff comes from stuff what doesn't suit him.

He's also playing far too deep, and because he likes to play with his back to goal he's not really effective. He's not someone like Fuller who'll drop into the channels and carry the ball, nor a Sidibe who'll win most headers and flick ons he challenges for so Kits is struggling to adapt.

Tbh though, he needs to man up and stop acting like such a fanny. Harping on about Reading, complaining about the North and not acknowledging the guy coming onto replace you isn't going to make you any friends. We've got a great dressing room and if he is rocking the boat he needs putting into line.

I was talking to my mate yesterday, he told me his mate works down at Stoke as a part of the away teams security. He then told me of a couple of stories his mate had passed on.

The pick of the bunch is one from the Chelsea game. After the game one of the Stoke players (He didn't know who exactly) called this bloke in and asked him to see if Drogba would swap shirts. So the bloke went in and approached Drogba. Goes back into the Stoke dressing room and gives our boy Drogba's shirt, but his own which Drogba had sent back too!

John Terry was also necking a beer as he left the dressing room to get on the coach, which he gave to the bloke on the door just before he went outside in the public view. And there was a bit of a problem with Bale on saturday.

Apparently players sent off have to be in the dressing room 5 minutes before the scheduled end of each half. Bale was watching the game on a screen and was a bit upset when he had to leave about twenty minutes before the final whistle!

3 wins down, 8 more to go.

We played to a great tempo and got up and at Sunderland. We were in their faces from early on and got the result, in the end, we deserved. Triffic.

Yeah good win, should have been more comfortable really.

Stoke are doing what i expected. At home they will get points, just need to make themselves more competitive away from home. Could do with Lawrence back, his operation went well so hopefuuly back soon.

In fairness to the kid, Tom Soares has proved to be a more than capable deputy to Liam. Good to see a bit of pace in the side, although last night I think the effects of playing regularly after a break out were starting to show.

I agree it should've been a bit more comfortable, that Fuller shot which hit the post was a great chance. The ball through from Tonge was fantastic too.

IT's going to be a win-win situation for you on Saturday, Bishop! ;)

No mate, after last night Arsenal need to produce a proper display for the fans on Saturday so i hope we thrash you!!

Then again, we already look out of the title race so any points Stoke get will be a consolation. :(

Fuller goal from a Delap assist

Glad we don't have to play Stoke.

How much for Delap?
