Strategy for Successful Competition

If you follow these steps I guarantee you will have success in competitions. This is mostly for Open Competition, not for Division Competition.

1. Make sure you have enough players (11+3 subs). This will give you some sort of rotation in your squad.

2. Win the first game, this is necessary trust me. Do this and 1/3 of your way to the final 16. Make sure you play SUITABLE starting line-up, since you dont want to run out of stamina for your other 2 games.

3. In your 2nd Game, you have to put your strongest line-up if the opponent is high rank or have a high rating. When you win this, you are 2/3 your way thru, but during this time you must consider using your subs to rest your SB's and Strikers (or those who will be doing most of your attacking in your final 3rd game.

4. HARD defense, I mean make sure your CB's does all the pre-game ritual and focus on building up spaces and forcing opponent to make stupid mistakes. This should free up your striker and if you have at least an Andy Caroll.

5. Sometimes things just dont go your way, but thats ok since in reality you have at least 4-5 games which mean 2 games remain if you manage to lose your first game and win the other two.

All this^ in a few words, so you can save the time: Play well.

Oh and btw your first game success is not a must. If you join a competition early on that first game almost doesn't matter at all. As long as you still have time for 3 (or more) games, you're good. Also, unless you're playing in MLO, forget about the stamina thing and use the players in their best form.

Pretty much it.. oh and remember, go for a weaker team and you will make it through regardless of your goalaverage. I always play Juve in competitions and I can make it through with 9 pts and 3-0 GD, while some barca/real fags with the same number of points won't make it thru.
