strengthen points on become a legend (ps3)

i dotn seem to have any points to strengthen my strenght how do i get points so i can become a better player?

Playing matches. The strengthen is there to add to the player's abi;lities after a match. You'll notice after a match that there's the red part (when abilities are going up) and green part. You determine the green part through strengthen option. 3 blocks mean 3 times for example.
