Stuff they should bring back from old pes games?

i was thinking of all of the old pes games i have played through the years and thought of things that they should bring back from the old pes games and put into pes 2009 such as:

1. slide tackle for the ball if it is goin out
2. challenge mode in training
3. a good editing mode (so u can do all the kits lik pes6)

any 1 else got any ideas?

I'd like to see them bring back the option of playing a European dream team against a rest of the world dream team, from PES2. It'd be a lot of fun and it's a shame they took it out in the first place.

yeah that was well gd the only chance you get now it playin teams in master league when its end of season.

I'd love to see the "Random Selection Match" brought back, basically a mix and match of your choice, with their still being an element of randomisation included. It was great and would bring something fresh to every exhibition match, played this religiously against friends before.

I used to do that with my mates all the team it's the fairest method of choosing teams in my opinion

Edit mode

I think because the new game will have huge editing mode it might just mean we can add barca and real,valencia and any other spanish team EA Sports have tried to buy every league this year which they have but Konami have got most internationals which people play with....

and im totally sure the old edit mode can be put back in to the game but we live and dream no matter what im going to buy it anyway lol

Well I've Seen 'seabass's Interview',there He Talked About Editing Modes,and It Looked Extremely Cool And Simple,but Im Sure For The Ps2 It's Just The Same AS PES08.they Should Bring Back The Boots And The Boot Editor Where U Could Actually Change Designs of boots Like Pes6.i dont get it but why didnt the design editor work for the pes08?.anyway,the pes6 Had Adidas And Reebok's(i Think Reebok's),anyway,also They Should Bring Back The Easy Presentation Menu(like Pes6),i Heard There Will Be A New And Better One On Pes09,pes08 Was Just A Bit Rubbish And It Was A Dull To Me.also The Way The Master League Menu Was Presented,i Mean Pes08 Was Just Terrible,i Have To Say Pes6 Was The Best I'd Seen,so Clear,much Better.pes08 Was A Dissapointing Improvement.pes09 Should Hopefully Be Better.also,one More Thing,pes09 Should Bring Back The Fun And Enjoyment Like Pes6,because It Was A Huge Improbvement And Pes09 Will Put Konami Back To Its Winning Ways!!!

Totally agree with this like. How annoying was it in PES 2008 to play any league, cup, master league etc... and not be able to select the kit you wore.

It lead to a lot of clashes which became almost unplayable. And when I had a spanish league with Barcelona I was always put in my away kit no matter if I was home or away.

For next gen it was daft to remove something so simple!

Oh and Adidas stripes in the editing. They have the licence, they used to be in, so put them back in instead of two!

They removed it in PES6. It's quite annoying that they removed so many features and keep the useless ones such as playing in an animal costumes, or the rainbow colour acting as a "tail" of the ball during replay.

Its already been mentioned and i agree that they need to bring back the option to mix and match the kits before the match..altho i'm guessing this was probably removed due to Licensing issues. Untucked shirts needs to be brought back asap also!

I'm with Hunter and Sean here, random selection matches with mates was great, I remember once picking my starting line up and had C. Davies at the back, assuming it was Curtis I kept him there, it was only when he was skinned and left for dead by one of our kids strikers that I check him out...it was Claude

Also untucked shirts was a very good addition.
