Hi,

I know this isn't strictly online, but i mainly player online.

my issue is that sometimes i can not switch to a player near the ball. For example the opposition is running down the wing, and i have 2 players near him, it will switch to the one i dont want! No matter how many times im hitting L1 (or l2 can remember) is there something im missing.

Im rating 700+ somehow but i dont feel im good at all!

i used to love pes 2012, i personally think there are too many controls to remember in this one, even though i am enjoying it.

But the game feels fluid enough, its just the switching players. another example is that made a brillaint lob through ball, my controlled player and a computer team mate were both close, my controlled player was slightly behind a defender so was a struggle to get to, but the computer player would have made it. I tried rapidly to switch to this player but it wouldnt move off the other player! so annoying!

doesnt work. Its awful its just locked on. in the settings there is unassisted, assisted and manual, which one of those do i need? i can not switch players at all.
So frustrating especially when everyone uses the through ball.

Also why is defending in the game absolutely dreadful? im just bumbling around division 6 and 7.

It's just a flaw in the game, the computer basically doesn't want you to get the ball at that point so it delays your cursor change momentarily to ensure this happens, you'll probably find that it comes back to normal the moment you missed the chance to close down or receive the ball.

There is no way around it. You'll notice it happens less offline and on easier settings. Happens more online or on harder settings.

thanks for the replies guys. Haven't played much offline so Havn't noticed the difference, I will give it a ago.

Its such a shame though. I previously had PES 2010 and 2012 which never had this problem.

It's just part of the scripting problem.

Anyways, I never played PES 2010 or 2012 but the rest of them had this problem, although to varying degrees, they still had it.
