Does anyone of you can give an explanation of the symbols of the players ...I think the red, green, blue icon next to the player who probably show their willingness to play, fitness, etc.
much different from those in PES2008...

Thanks

red == wtfpwnd quick player, can do anything
green == as you would expect
purple == shitty useless slow player, only try short passes and shots on open goal

blue and orange in between those.. :p

yes dan80...I think that on these arrows...
Arnie...What is with other symbols such as black cube?
In Book a game PES2009 there is no explanation of these icons!

the black think is when your player is injured while game and cant return to the pitch.

What's the deal with the arrow pointing down? It seams on different systems it is a different color. On my PC it is clearly PURPLE, no doubt about it. Someone else said it was BLACK for him and from my understanding you are saying it is GREY.

Wtf? :shocking:

The arrows determine what stat modifications the player gets.

So Red (pointing up) and Orange (pointing up/right) will give your player boosts in all his stats, green will do nothing (no negative or positive impact) while Blue (down right), Purple (down) and Injured (cross) will decrease a player stats, at pretty alarming rates. Here is the breakdown as provided by the PES Guide:

All values are %. So 12 = 12% etc..etc..

As you can see, no matter how good a player is I would never play him if the arrow is purple and rarely if the arrow is Blue... the stat hits are just too significant. And obviously playing an injured player is just silly.

Hope this helps!

well it might be purple but ive always know sice pes 5 and it was gery then and very good was yellow but know its orange an easy way to go is if the arrow is up or slighty up then in the middle then play them

its just the form of the player, its not fitness or anything. dont bother playing anyone on either downward arrow blue and definately not on the fully down arrow cos theyll just be crap

do you mean them arrows??

its the affection on their abilities. physical abilities such as speed, strength, jumping, dribbling speed, shot power and stamina are affected the most.

red-player does miracles
yellow-better from normal..
green-normal level of abilities in that game
blue-worse than normal..
gray-shit

He circled the ones he meant.

Btw, how much of a football fan are you luxo, above the extent of playing games with footballs in the, I mean?

Because you claim to support both Arsenal and Tottenham.

I say no more.
