The cup games we played last night felt a lot like Ultimate Team, all seemed a bit hectic and arcade like. The league game was far more enjoyable.

We played our best football in the league game. Got a touch complacent, which led to their goal, but otherwise we played well.

That 6-3 game was bonkers. You didn't play in the first game, but we conceded three goals in that which were the result of dire defending (CPU cock-ups) as well. CPU gives away a nothing penalty, and then the keeper kicks it right at their striker and he fires it in. True wank.

Agreed, Original?. But we have one more cup (EA Cup) to win that we haven't and then we have a full trophy cabinet. Then we never have to play another cup game ever.

Edit: In fact, if anyone wants early Clubs to get that trophy out the way so we can just play league tonight, let me know.

That pen shootout last night, to win the cup, was rather tense. Was scared I'd do a John Terry and sky it over the bar.

Haha yeah. For a minute I thought I was not going to have to take one. Was BRILLIANT when the GK casually caught the penalty that the opposition missed.

As Mak pointed out, it doesn't get much better than beating 'Germany' on pens!

Their GK was unreal all the 120 mins too. Dunno how we didn't manage to score.
