Quite hard to focus on your own VP though when you're in control of the entire team.

Awesome team play yesterday, best run of matches in a long time, really enjoyed it.

Red, your defending and moving the ball around is excellent, having you in that role really makes a difference, however your shooting :faceplm:, became very funny after the first couple of misses.

Just a quick point, the reason why I wasn't always aiming corners at Barn last night is because he was being overmarked; most teams with a modicum of intelligence stick two men on him at set-pieces thus rendering him pretty much unfindable. I found 3-4 heads from corners per-game in the first 3 games when I was looking for men who were open, which resulted in a couple of goals, compared to only finding Barn once when I was only trying to pick out him in the last.

Sorry for my very shit to average display as ANY the other night. Just out of curiosity, what camera angle do you guys use when playing as ANY?

EDIT: played THREE there and both lost 2-1 in all of them, absolute injustice especially the 2nd game. I could have levelled it twice right enough & should have, overall got MOTM in the 2nd & 3rd game so cant complain too much.

I reckon for future games we need a VP to be in defence, I feel last night we got caught because we had default defenders competing with other VP's...in the 3rd game I went as CB and ended up with a rating of 9 and man of the match, so I reckon whether it be me, or anyone else - someone should always play in defence just for the overall balance of the team.

was honestly a brilliant game minus some lag.

My VP only got a rating of 6.8 at the back which I thought was harsh lol, barely put a foot wrong.

Yea me too, even the first game when it was only me & you Barn, I think we got to 4-0 before being kicked which was unlucky.

But everyone played/gelled well last night, had a good couple of games.

Got my VP to overall 88 as a CF or 86 CB

Good session yesterday, that puts me down for 2 cup winning medals now.

The amount of lag I had in that final was incredible, I pressed X to pass then 2 seconds later my player would pass, changing direction was a joke. Good job you both played really well, shame about Barn losing connection.

Very good session earlier tonight lads; we all played very well and it was nice to be part of high-scoring wins. It was also great that those teams had the deceny to plod on all the 90 minutes. Kudos to them.

Thought Joel was solid as ANY, and Barn was on fire. I thought we all linked up well together.

I'll never understand how we win when I am playing as ANY. I'm like constantly all over the shop and getting beat by their wingers and so on.

I guess I do deal with crosses rather well and I time bringing the goalkeeper rather well, which means they don't score that often.

It's annoying switching players though. Sometimes it just doesn't give you the one you want. Especially when there is a bit of lag, you press it, get the player 3 seconds later, but by that time you have already pressed L1 so it changes to another one.

Berry, you scored some lovely goals last night.
