PES15 has the same kind of scripting as in fifa. Situations like that always happen when i am leading. Already happened 4 times. I am really disappointed. This will cause too much frustration when we play online. I think its safe to say that real comptetition won't exist in onlinr gaming anymore, since scripting or handocapping become s common. Thats the another problem. I pressed clear button like crazy and boateng still handed the ball to him.

There is still an element of scripting in player vs player matches, both in PES and Fifa. You know, the rather "convenient" deflections in your box, players failing to control the ball, passes not going in the direction you aim, players "stuttering" when running. All these tricks. It's just the way it is.

I don't think that scripting in other games is as relevant as in competition games such as fifa, pes or cod.

I notice scripting when it benefits myself.

Anyway, it's not all scripted of course, there is obviously some skill involved. But put it this way, how often have you seen it where the opposition scores straight after you score due to one of your defenders going AWOL or some dodgy deflection?

The early PES games on PS2 that didn't have it were a prime example as it was just a matter of how many goals you would win by. There is however I believe no reason for there to be scripting when play against another human opponent online or offline

True, I just get bored with all the post about scripting which of course there wouldn't be if it was hidden better.

I will just feel cheated and frustrated online. In fifa its even worse, the game is completely different due to the scripting. I am not a sore loser i am even division 1 but decided to stop playing because i didn't earn it by myself.

I dont knpw yet why nobody sued ea. They have something called arena where one can play for money through virgin gaming. The scripting can make the better play lose and takes the money from him, which is imo a scam.


But back to PES. This should not be. Different opponents will bring different challenge everytime there is no need for scripting. It is just not real. And it doesn't matter if it benefits the opponent or me. A game like fifa or pes should be skill vs skill.

I personally think it will be worse on myclub , just like in fifas UT.

Doesn't look like scripting to me - rather poor AI.

In these cases - where the goal is wide open and you are one on one - I actually wished there was a script that made the player clear the ball automatically.

I agree this shouldn't happen. But I also agree this is more poor AI than scripting. Tbh, I haven't seen much scripting in 2015. I always saw it in past games.

If you are up in the lead, I have noticed that the AI pushes more offense so they will attack more, you have to use strategy against this. I have had games where they push and score on me, but sometimes they get burned and I'm able to counter attack this resulting in a score for me.

Anyway, wait for the final release and reviews to see if its a major complaint.

IMO the scripting in a 1 v 1 (1 vs PC indeed) match is only the game's intepretation of possesion. While one team is finding to score, theier players are faster, the passes are more accurate, the other team starts losing balls, and feeling like it's losing response, etc.

In a real life football match, when a team start playing better and takes control of the match doing well passing, shooting near the GK, etc. is normal that the other team starts feeling that theat, getting anxious and losing some control.

This has been always a PES feature and i respect that because is a real fact in football. You need to recover the possesion by getting confidence with safe passing.

When i take bennefit of this i feel fine, because it means i'm playing better.
When it harms me i know i need to make some changes.

It's really an overvalued topic...i mean...IT'S A GAME!

After years of crying about the scripting in PES, I can honestly say that the scripting on Legendary difficulty in Fifa 15 puts it to shame. It's fucking ludicrous.

If you follow EA's NHL series and heard of the "ice tilt", well what's been described in here is similar to ice tilt, where your team just becomes retarded and the other team has the advantage (usually when you're ahead in score) and the "catch up AI" in EA Sports games in general can be ridiculous and atrocious that you just want to throw the controller at the screen when you've put 110% effort into keeping the lead (pretty bad in FIFA especially but you can abuse the AI by running into them and making them take yellow/red cards, and can be apparent in Madden where your team just forgets how to pass and carry the ball). But of course there are people that will tell you that mechanic doesn't exist, and after having played several different sports games on both PC and console for 30 some odd years, I can tell you it exists (started in 2008 or 2009 in most EA games, etc). So... yeah I'm not surprised if Konami adapts this into PES.

That's why i left it, doing all the passing and finally scoring and receive a goal 30 seconds later. This happened 4 times IN ONLY ONE MATCH. The score: 5-4, i won but got that feeling of...

I admit the scripting in pes is nothing compare d to fifa. In fifa they basically have match fixing. I am just disappointed to see something similar in a different game. In fifa it got worse since Ultimate Team, because alot of money is involved. Who knows if it don't get worse aswell in myclub.
