The annoying pitch is back

Just played Panathanikos in the ML and their pitch had the really small different shaded lines going across the pitch (except this time its from goal to goal instead of up and down the way)

You know the one i mean, where it hurts your eyes when u try to play :(

Yep, we all know the one you mean!

Pitches are so crap on PES in general. The only ones I like playing on are the 'big eye stadium', 'Ayase Nakano', Highbury and Anfield. All the others look crap.

WE WANT BETTER PITCHES!!! It can't be too hard to make them look proper! Proper as in a good shade of GREEN (not yellow or brown lol) and with no stupid patterns that give you a headache looking at them!

OK, rant over.

I think I know exactly what you mean

That pitch with the thin lines, it's horrible, I normally go about every team that has it as their "home stadium" and change it to something else. Unbearable.

I agree with you all that the English stadiums aren't that good in PES, while I think that the Italian ones; Delle Alpi, San Siro, The Olympico and Enio Tardini are far better looking.

I'm lucky enough to have my ps2 chipped and as soon as a stadium patch was released it was sayonara to the old pitches and in with new one's.

I HATE THAT PITCH.......I ALWAYS QUIT THE GAME WHEN I GET IT RANDOMLY OR IN ML........ and I don't understand KONAMI...why is it so hard to make a normal GREEN pitch...it should be simple......but no, they have to make some shit effects like that pitch that hurts your eyes...in PES 5 i think it was VELODROME STADION....in pes6 i still haven't seen it

Yes the Vodacom Park stadium in pes6 is killing my eyes but fifa 07 stadiums are actually brown or yellow so that's not that bad.

P.S: you have to get used to it cause Vodacom Park is in South Africa so you will see more of it in 2010 :D

The San Siro pitch in Pes5 looked grey when it was raining, that used to annoy me but I dont really have any complaints about the pitches in general. Just change all the teams with the vadacom (or whatever it is) stadium to something else, and usually o/f or patch makers will make sure its done in the first place.

Actually instead of making crappy looking grass pitches Konami should put in some fun pitch options like an "all muddy" one... or one with huge stones sticking out that trip your players up, like in "World Cup", or a completely waterlogged pitch ... anyway you get the idea.

I like the idea of making fun pitches option. Actually, they are better called realistic pitches. Since, they do already exist during the winter in most of European countries.

What do you mean its back? It never went away.
Does any pitch in the world actually look like that one?
Anfield looks the best to me especially under floodlights.
