Gabriel Paletta from boca juniors is a good defender for the future, but the best I had was Toure when i played with Manchester city. He is a crack!

daniel agger is freaking crazy at the back,may not have the best stats,but he just seems to beat every forward in the air and hes pretty good going forward too

I have him at 24 yo, tons of experience in ever game, currently outdoes Carra, Skrtel et al in the stats...(overall of 86)
Body balance of 88, defence of 86 (from what I remember)
Shot power of 95, free kick accuracy of 71, swerve of 76...and all of these are improving!

On PES 2008 he turned into a rock. As Lyc10 says, he's tall and got a good jump+header stats.

The Arsenal youth team seems like they deserve a look in

On PES 2008, twas Ferdinand and Palmieri, along with Agger and Alex as backup.

Oh yeah, Puyol is so annoying to play against, as are Terry and Ferdinand, so they must have decent stats.

I was playing ML against Tottenham and couldn't score a goal with Ledley King anywhere close, even Torres (93 attack, 90+ shot accuracy and technique) was put off when King was breathing down my attackers necks

put youth team on level 5(costs 10 million euros) wait for few seasons, currently i am playing with Shakhtar on top player and i took 3 CB age of 15-17 with rating of 85-93. Just be patient and collect your youth players

Libermann i had from my Arsenal Youth Team. Was 85 when he was promoted at just 15. He is 23 and at a rating of 105. THE best player on the game. I pair him with Micah Richards. They are a quality pairing! 7 Goals conceded all season on top player. Together they are so quick. I sometimes put Micah to the RB position and play Criscito at CB. He is another 'must-buy'. Also I have just had a Chinese Left-Back called Roi Hang come throught the Youth Team. He is 15 and already has a rating of 80. Havent had a chance to play with him yet but my scout likens him to Roberto Carlos.

My oh my how could I forget Micah Richards from my PES 08 ML! Quality buy.

Deary me I must get involved with some of that decent youth team stuff. 85 at 15?!?!?!? Liverpool's youth team looked pretty shocking, but then again I'm not quite at the end of my first season, and I looked at the players when I'd only been playing PES 10 for a few hours

SHould I get a coupla games in now? It's 3 am though...

I guess you started with Arsenal too?

Gallas is on his way out at mine so I've stuck to developing Vermaelen and he's gotten pretty good off one season... as have Clichy and Sagna, great at their first time crosses

Considering him as he is pretty young and he looks like he could replace an ageing Carvahlo.
