Straight to the point : STOP.THE.BLOODY.SCRIPTING !

I'm a level headed person really . And when you anger me so much that you make me swear , you've done something extremely ugly .

The nearest memory I have with this plague is back with PES 2011 . I really loved that game and enjoyed it . Exhibition matches , Master League , BAL , and all the other sorts of little "add-ons" which for some reason you thought it would be a good idea to remove . Now while I would love many features of PES 2011 to return and really think it would be for the better , the only thing that is RUINING every single edition I buy is the bloody flipping thing you call "momentum" . It's just ASININE ! It destroys the matches ! How on earth did you manage to keep this thing around for all these years ?! I just want to understand what kind of an ridiculous reason you have that makes you think it makes the game "fun" ! What fun is there in watching a stage play where you are doomed to lose no matter how hard you try against the very last team in the league ?! What fun is there in being unable to play normally ?! Seriously , who keeps this thing ?! There are amateurs who make patches to stop this sadistic feature you enjoy torturing people with !

I'm honestly getting SICK of all of this . Not only does this plague weakens my own players to the degree that they look as if they just left the hospital and on the other hand makes the opposition seem like super modified soldiers , no , it even messes with the very physics of the game in ways you only see in cartoon and anime ! And let's not get started with how it makes the defenders stop dead in track letting the opposition go one on one where they score 99.99% of the time . What makes me tick even more is how the referee is clearly giving them free kicks and penalties over any bumps a first grader wouldn't faze from while wouldn't say a thing when they act like the pitch is a karate ring !

I swear I don't mind losing fairly . I've overcome my hatred of losing since I was 5 . I fail an unimaginable number of times in games like DMC , Crash Bandicoot , and many others but I don't tick one bit . Why ? Because those games don't ruin the gameplay itself !! They don't FORCE me to lose !

So tell me : When are you going to listen to basic common sense and stop this bloody disaster of a system ?!

I hear ya bud, it's a joke. Rubber band physics - blame Ridge Racer :D
I've made a few posts about myself. I enjoy the bits where I am in control but it all feels overshadowed by those moments when the computer takes over and all my shit stops working. Daft but it keeps the kids happy, apparently.

1/ The game mechanics has too many pre-coded moments in which the player skill or inputs are not honored by the game, A rigid algorithm/formula always takes over and decides in any situation the output of the event, your dexterity and reaction time skill does not matter (for example after successfully being tackled, the computer AI always fell down and held your player back. This must be a designed feature as it happens every single time).

2/ There are too many limiting factors imposed unilaterally on player right from the onset. That's why You ALWAYS have a feeling of something is not right about the game.

The game feels rigid, on rail, ropey, lack of flexiblity. You can not have total freedom to play the game creatively in your own satisfying way as in earlier versions of the game because the movement, formation and passing path to your teammates have been designed in a limiting and rigid grid at all times.

Sometimes You feel You have no time to think and react because of this intentional pre-designed limitation.

3/ The ball collision behavior and movement has not also been designed solely to comply with a real world physics simulation, but also with a snap-in mechanism: any loose ball, any deflected ball will be locked artificially and with bias into a player nearby. There is no perception of consistency of ball movement because of this pre-determined "snap-in/ magnetized into player feet" effect.

For example, in your penalty area, there are always situations in which You could not make any successful clearance, no matter how much you tried. the ball will stubbornly snapped-back, railroaded back into an opponent feet.

Well we all know that any game is a simulation and thus is necessarily scripted to follow certain rules . Regardless of the naming of this thing , the issue is that the game rules change drastically for no reason . At one point , you try to make your defender press the opposition and take the ball , you succeed at times and fail at others . At another game however , your players won't even come close to the one attacking . Heck , he'll stop in his place and let him pass on a way we wouldn't be caught dead doing when we were in the first grade ! IF you were lucky enough and your player managed to take the ball with a slide tackle , he'll stumble in his place forever - something that NEVER happens normally - while the other player who just fell to the ground gets back up like a phoenix and takes the ball back while your defender is still struggling to stand up again ! And the bias of the referee is the most disgusting thing about all of this . It equals one taking bribery in real life .

The game isn't perfect . I still think it's great though . But when you ruin every single thing which makes it great , it becomes a piece of garbage really .

I feel there is definitely a negligence in attention to the autonomous intelligence of player's AI team mates compared to the CPU's ones ( in ball and situation awareness, marking, prediction, interception).

Of course, the emphasis must be on the player to direct and control his team, but due to nature of the game, the player can only control one player at a time. The developers must at least allow some basic level of sophistication in the rest of the AI team mates that player could not control at any given time. This is a team sport game after all.

There is so much imbalance on sophistication level of the both sets of AI. Due to this, most of the frustration of the game play was coming from loss of possession in the transitional moment of switching to another player, or due to the lack of action of the AI team mate in prediction, reaction and interception of the pass or chasing a loose ball which does not happen in real-life.

This constant lethargic state of player AIs, in contrast with the obnoxiously exaggerated pressure and God-like reaction and speed of the CPU's players in prediction, interception and accuracy is blatant, therefore the cause of anger and frustration.

The player has an impression that the team mates not under his control are not interested in playing football at all. Their delayed reactions and lack of logical contextual action are always questionable.

The AI team mates not under direct control of the player must possess at least a certain level of basic autonomy of situational awareness of the match, i.e if a defender has a line of sight and an advantage in distance to the ball compared to an opponent. He must proceed to run into space to intercept the ball. Not stop in his track or run away. A team mate should not run right in front of his striker team mate to block his shoot on goal. A team mate should not run towards his defender to block a pass or clearance for a convenient deflect into an opponent.

A team mate should always running into a space for a player to pass to, not immediately run and hide behind the opponent defenders or offside position whenever the player finds a rare passing opportunity and about to do so.

There is a script that make every headed clearings from corner kicks will pass the ball to opponents waiting outside the box.
The opponents are cheated on many aspects: control multi players at once; precise guess of dribbling; speed surge all the time; never seems to have any fatigue on the last minutes; superpower to take the ball by strength; and the referees always give them advantages.

I just can't get into the game fully. I've gone back to 14 (before anyone laughs it's heavily modded and amazing).

Too much wrong with 15, too little control (wishy washy passing - on all bars, that being 1, 2 ,3 ,4 and 5), shooting is a royal joke and far too limited (on both Advanced and Basic I won't even mention manual) same shots over and over, knuckle shot is all but gone and the whole thing feel rather random.
Tricks are awful now, running is inconsistent as is the entire movement system.

Small parts are amazing - large parts are just awful and sadly outweigh the small parts that are good.

There is definitely something to like, but sadly there is a whole lot to hate.

I don't understand how people can think this game is great but I guess love is blind. It's really not.

I know that feel bro . I could tick a bit with some tricky races in Midnight Club , leave Crash Bandicoot or DMC for a while after failing many times , or get upset over cheap bosses in Tekken . But the ONLY game which makes me rage is PES . And that's only when it applies its bloody scripting .

Came on here to post this, I have been VERY vocal about the horrendous amount of scripted, on-rails, rubber-banded moments in PESfan forums since I first started playing it hoping to get away from the joke that is Fifa. Only to be even more disappointing as not only does it contain very strong handicap where the game literally takes control away from you and won't let your input work, along with changing the actual physics of the ball and magnetic (moments)... but the movement is so HORRENDOUS and sluggish.

The pitch is ours? If they say it's our why don't they let us control the game! So sick of sports games, I have to quit them. It's a terrible industry standard.

The really sad and sickening thing is the fact this is an "official" Konami PES 2015 feedback forum and there is no single reply from these a Konami representative. I doubt if this forum is even moderated.
They created this forum to let us vent out but it seems they are either careless or incapable of doing any thing to fix the crappy game play they created.
I remember one of Konami developers (one of the geniuses behind this !@#$%) stated last year that "FIFA plays like ping-pong" :) :)
Mr geek genius developer, I've got news for you :)
