I have always played PES 2009 on Top Player. And Loved it.

There is no way I can do this right now, with all of the "new" gameplay "tactics" implemented .

But on regular it seems tooo easy, and on Professional its like ... what?

Comp strings like 20-25 passes in the back , gets away with fouls etc etc.

Dont get me wrong, im not complaning, im just saying WHY IS THE DIFFERENCE SO HUGE!!! hhaha.

any tips maybe?

Start with Top Player, and you will see that professional is not that bad, you will be chasing ball without effect, watching how useless your pressing is, and finally how AI opponent is knockin' you out without punishment.

I do know what he's saying though. I've just finished first season with Wolves finished 12th with Wolves on Professional. I've always played on top player and i was intending to increase the level after one season, but i honestly think I'd get relegated. Haven't had a pro evo thats been significantly different for ages! Good news if you ask me

I've always done top player, I feel too guilty otherwise lol

It is a lot difficult though and a bit unrealistic if you ask me. Fair enough the likes of Barca, but when Bolton and Hull start one touch passing and building 25-30 passes together, it becomes ridiculous. The game should play to the players stats. I've not seen many misplaced passes etc and the 'rare' pennas are stupid. I've been blatantly felled louds in the box with the ref giving nothing.

Rant over.

yea i feel you guys on this. I guess it is just practice....

but it becomes quite annoying when the mids start stringing together thouse 20-25 perfect passes.

dont get me wrong, I like this new idea of a more challenging AI but.... its not very realistic. Though goals are now much more rewarding haha.

Thats true. I scored a screamer with Ebanks Blake earlier after an amazing bit of passing and it almost felt as good as Wolves actually scoring!

Agree with you. Regular is piss this year (I am VERY average and I won 5/6-0), on Expert at the moment.

I am always playing Top Player. It's doable as long as you keep on passing. Started an ML with Wolves and won 5 matches out of the first 6 and one draw.. I am not an amazing player, but I think that the difficulty is not very high.. Just practise a bit more and avoid trying rushes with one player only.. That doesn't work in this PES anymore (fortunately)

I started on Top Player but after getting knocked out in the Champs League twice in the semi-finals I decided to change it down.

Regular is now far too easy after playing on Top player. I was scoring 4 or 5 goals most games.

I've now settled on Professional which seems just about right at the min. I think I'll try and win Champions League on this level before moving it up to Top Player again.
