Yeah i find that sometimes when your player gets better he can just run through anyone.

I'm an AMF and I've got a card of the quick turn. Nothing else though :( I'm with Real right now. Is there anyone else who's national team plays really crappy in the big tournaments? We go undefeated in qualifiers and don't get to the knockout stages. I'm Italy's number 9 :D But I play as a DMF for them.

Mine (USA) does surprisingly well in WC (only "big" tourney for the US!). Once some of our young players like Davies, Altidore, Holden, Bradley, JF Torres, Adu, etc, got some growth behind them, we started killing teams on the counter. Defense was soft (though we do have some of the best keepers in the game) but when my player got called up, it took care of that. Now I'm captain and we've won two WCs in a row. The last one was Uruguay, Spain, and Cameroon in the Group, Japan, Germany, Netherlands in Knockout, France in the final. Won them all 1-0, which was both maddeningly tense and slightly hilarious in its Mourinho-@-Chelsea-esque dickishness.

We tend to have this obsession of losing the first game then trying to win both of the final games. We always win the last game, but we would have already been knocked out. In Euro 2012 we got 2 points only -.- As individuals we're good (Giovinco, Osvaldo, Del Piero, Pirlo, De Rossi, Montolivo, Buffon, Gilardino, Chiellini) but maybe slightly old. It's really strange. Hopefully we'll get to the quarter finals of the next WC, and maybe even further.

What club do you play for?

does this game mode have the same problem as master league when it comes to the non existent penalties?

i haven't played it for some time and aren't sure if they are awarded more or like ML seem to have been left out.

Second season: Full ham (?)
In the middle of my second season, ManUnited asked me to join them and without any hesitation, I did. :p

Altho my fitness and frequency foot are both 7 (wich I did with BAL editor since you cant "upgrade" them ingame), I still have no any cards.

All I got is "balanced". Wich is a gray card that comes with every player..
Oh and, ManUnited is letting me play CM all the time, eventho im a second striker -.- annoying pricks, imma leave manunited or start a new BAL campaign :p

In this mode there has been 4 penalties i think, i scored 1 and missed one and the AI took the rest but yeah there is hardly any penalties and still the same amount of hacking from behind.

Dont even get me started on the commentry theres one part of the commentry i hate is when a player skys it or its cleared he will say beautifly tucked away.

Hey guys i don't know about you but i've just turned down offers from Arsenal and Chelsea in Winter Transfers in my 4th year after 3 seasons with Aston Villa! I just want to finish the season with Aston Villa because we are first at the moment and in knock out phase in Champions League! What would you do in my position?

Depends on how old your player is. If he's like, 30 and never played for a big team before, and you want to do so, maybe you can use the chance.

If he's young then stay.

Scored 1 goal in my 1st match whit babylania, sign contract whit Stoke City (2009), scored 3 goals and 4 assits, 11th in premier league, then i signed contract whit West Ham (2010), scored 5 goals and 3 assists, 8th in premier league, then signed contract whit Napoli (2010 -), 11 goals, 7 assists, 10th in serie a, eliminated in quarted finals in europa league by Arsenal

first post here..well played BAL for quite some time now..have to admit that im never good at it..its a stressful experience trying to win a game and perform well,but these are my stats..nothing orange and red yet so far.. :(



notice that man citys midfield and defence suck big time!they just cant seem to get the ball from the opponent..either that or the opponents are getting stronger..and they seem to struggle against physical team so much that it becomes annoying..seem to have a good partnership with tevez..but at times they just all piss me off.. :p

I think in my BAL Rooney loves me. Everytime I score - he is the first one to rush up to me and hug me etc. Even once when a match ended, Rooney was walking out of the stadium when all of sudden he stopped and looked back at me (I was walking behind him). By the way, I am playing as SS in Manchested United and Rooney was thrown as LMF - is that related to positions or Rooney has turned homosexual...? :D

Nah, I believe this is because of your position. If you played as CMF for instance perhaps the likes of park ji sung will do that to you.

Well, in real life if you can get Rooney to like you then I think it will greatly impact your career. I am just saying...

Well, I was played as RMF for first two games (not sure whenever Rooney was LMF of RMF when he was "in love with me", but probably it's just that I was played as SMF and he's played as SMF also so yeah..), maybe this is really related to position I've previously played in Man Utd., pretty weird huh.
