One a related note, my team is becoming very decent indeed. Have bought 4 players in addition to default players I had.

3 attackers - Del Pireo, Pandev, and Giuly (anyone remember giuly?)
Midfilder - Makelele

Next purchase maybe someday today will be vieira. Need to strengthen midfield as I play with Inter Tactics.

Can anyone please explain how to enter the competitions? Whenever I want to enter it always says that admissions are closed.

By the way, I know next to nothing about competitions. Anyone care to explain at least the very basics?

Giuly, Pandev, Vieira, Makelele, Gattuso, Emre and GK is Rustu. Impressive, isn't it?

Need to get good defenders now. Next buys will be Cannavaro and Campbell.

Maybe you sholdn't play the whole day ;)

so competitions have a start time, depending where you live it could be that du to timeshift they start an hour earlier or later.
for me it fits so when its 13:40 start time you have to be at the login screen at 13:40 and you shold be able to enter.

the games are 5 min each and you got 65 min time until playoffs start.

play fast and without replays, so you can play as much matches as possible!

what counts are the best 3 games in a row.

normally you need to have 3 wins with a goal difference of +6 to enter playoffs. (depending on how many people are in there)

but it gets explained at every start of the competition.

I'm finding it impossible. I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.
I started a couple of days ago, after only ever played single player until the day before, then playing 3 matches online winning 2 so thought i would give MLO a go, as i love single player master league. But i'm really struggling

I think i've probably played near 20 games now, if not more. Entered a D5 cup, and qualified and then got a bye in first knock out round (My best 3 games were in that qualifying section) but when i do quick match, even when paired with other D5 teams they always have much better players, but quite often seem to get D4 or D3 teams, which doesn't even give much more income and pretty much mean auto-loss (apart form one game when i got a draw) I don't mind losing badly to D1 teams, because at least the income is higher.

I probably haven't bought the best players, got Woods (former Chelsea youngester) who isn't very good, got Naughton because he was cheap and is on loan at Norwich IRL, NZogbia, Emerton, Stoch (because he's fast) and then a fairly fast striker who i did not know, and cost around 1.5 million.

But i just can't win. And i only have a couple of weeks before i go back to Uni, and won't be able to play there as only getting mobile broadband, so not enough MB/GB allowance to play online.... But its really frustrating, going from winning every single player game i played (which was boring, even on hardest level after a few games it becomes to easy) to having no chance of winning. I would enter more cups, but i don't really have time to guarantee being able to play for long enough, most of the time i'm playing 1 or 2 matches...

If this isn't the best way to get some advice, then sorry but anything that might help me. I wouldn't mind starting again if that would help, but i'm just not sure what to do....

it is tough when you are in d5. tournaments are the only way to make good money unless u are getting great results against better teams. so if u can play out a whole tournament, even getting to the quaters gets good money. as for loosing maybe u wanna change your strategies...what kind of formation are u playing?

If I don't play today I will move to division 1 tomorow.
Is it worth going there? Wil the money I make increase at all?

Also, is everyone there with ronaldo, messi and arshavin as in that case I rather don't move as it will be too boring for me.
