Probably. More game time would mean faster development.



It was my best result so far. I'm currently in third in the league so not everything is perfect. I'm playing in SS, manual passing and basic shooting. 10-min games. My team is currently in no. 122 in the Club Ranking.

Rebelinho, what difficulty are you playing? Read your previous posts and very impressing achievements already. I'm playing superstar with Ajax halfway through first season and currently placed 3rd in eredivisie and 2nd in CL group - lost 8-0 and 5-0 in the matches against Fiorentina!

This is especially important for me in midfield section. With SS level there is no midfield battles.

I don't see that happening much. While you can't control the opposition, you can control yourself. I like to play possessively, so I kinda slow down the game on purpose. If my opposition plays long balls all I can say is "thank you", as it allows me to win balls more eeasily (this is they don't have an Ibra upfront, who wins every aerial duel). If there's a team that plays fast counter attacking football, every time you have the ball, pass it around a bit and try to take control. Eventually you'll force your style upon them. Konami did one good thing, and that's the emotional part of the game.

Oh, don't you get me started with Fiorentina... Worst team to play against in the entire game (so far, and I've faced all the big italian teams, Man United, Paris Saint Germain). Only managed not to lose in my 5th game against them! They play very fluid, passing football that you can't counter. And Rossi seems more like Messi than Messi himself.

Gomez and Klose and incredibly overpowered in this game. Huge stats in Attacking Prowess, Shooting and Heading, combined with high Body Balance and very unrealistic speed can only end badly. That's why I never liked Fiorentina in PES and now it is one of my favourite teams when playing against my mates.

I don't have that problem because they sold him

Very often comp has two shots per game and two goals (TP or SS level). He almost never misses! I play manual (shot) and miss more than I score (like in real life, right?). So it's not balanced right.

I also like possession style of play but with manual passing you make mistakes (like in real life). Problem is that comp punishes your every mistake and has 85 to 90% pass-success (sometimes even more)! Very brutal and not balanced (even if you play with low level teams).
Don't get me started with his pinpoint-no-looking-I-have-eyes-on-my-back long passes across the field and scripted no-way-you-can-defend goals.

I hope there is a way to balance (offline) playing.

This is especially important for me in midfield section. With SS level there is no midfield battles, it doesn't matter if I play Carrick, Matic, Pirlo, Alonso, Ledesma... Everything is so fast, there is no possession game, only forward...

i am also loving ML in the last few day's iv'e realized i'll probably play this offline only even though in my club i have messi, neymar, hart, de bruyne, ozil, naingolan, tachtsidis, eriksen, tadic, veltman and torress all black balls but i find this mode utterly boring after a few weeks and i've never had a top team like this before so it doesn't make sense tbh. anyway i play ML on -1 speed with manual passing and shooting but i don't find the AI score every shot in fact alot of the time they fire wide and a typical game would end between 8/12 shots each with 4/7 on target and scores are normally 2-2 2-1 3-1 1-0 (5-1) (vs las palmas) this is on 14 minute match time too, it is difficult on manual but very rewarding when you score or make a good passing move and i'd rather be on manual than assisted and win every game.

I agree. It's not interesting on assisted passing.

i'm on ps4 also and it is hard to shut out the cpu from scoring , i did try putting the speed on normal for the last 5 mins of my CL game where i was 4-1 up and i found it alot harder to keep the ball and i conceded a goal too.

yes iv'e noticed my last two games tonight was 1-1 and i had 9 or 10 shots and was allover levante and celta vigo but all they had was 1 shot 1 goal and 2 shots with one goal in the other game , can be annoying. but then again atletico beat me 1-3 and it was shots on and off target all game so....

About time I update this. Today's exam is gone so I have a bit of free time now.

January arrived in style! Quaresma joined the youth team and was promptly promoted. Buffon flourishes non-stop and gets to world class levels at the age of... 17! But the biggest surprises came for Denmark...

Fischer flourishes as well. Depay who? Yussuf Poulsen joins Pescara in a deal worth a lot of money. Why? Because look at these modafokin stats!

Scoring some good 0.8 headers per game, Yussuf likes to terrorize defences with his hair and unreal acceleration. Coutinho's got some real challenge this time...

Attacking options at Pescara underwent what can only be describe as a revolution. Keita Baldé came in for the place of Kobzar, after one-and-a-half seasons of pragamatic football. Andersen is now on the right alongside Martial and wonderkid Quaresma, with Baldé joining Fischer on the left.

Jarvis was let out of his misery and exiled himself in some 3rd world club. To replace his sorry ass former concrete post Luca Toni was brought from the youth team. Now if you think this is bad business, refrain from speaking. Because Toni spent two full weeks at the club before being sold for 7 million euros. Pure profit.

For the same reasons former bad-quality-concrete post Something Zigic was brought, not from the youth team, but from unemployment. Poor lad never knew what hit him when he was loaned out to somewhere over the rainbow.

Maggio. Oh yes, he already retired. His reincarnation decided to mature on steroids and this came out:

Yussuf's worst friend (61 crossing, really?), Maggio likes to go forward and forget he's a defender. Alongside Bellerin they form the most fastest quick partnership on the right flank... in the world. But if what you need is power, go no further and ask for a Giorza at the café. Lvl 2. Leader, already a legend for getting to 70 pace, he somehow keeps on playing despite the kids competition. Some might say this is bad, I say this position is sorted for the next seasons...

Edit: Played a few games now. Fischer is rated 85 already, and got a Maestro role. Which is great, because I have exactly 1 player with is position (SS): him.

Good news though, as Coutinho is flourishing as well. I'm gonna call Pescara "The Brotherhood of Red Arrows" from now on.

You keep talking about this Keita Baldé lad so i'll have to look at him myself next time I play. It's awesome when you get more than one player flourish at the same time, that forward line looks tasty.

Hell yeah!

I tell you, Porto is not worthy of Neves. He played some three or four passes that even Xabi or Pirlo would have trouble getting right. What a talent. And he really is a Porto fan, he captained the team and it was obvious he was the leader on the pitch.

Do you really need to ask that Ali?

The only way to stop this is creating random stat-ed players, within a database of names and nationalities. Which is possible (I guess that's how FM does it), but of course takes quite a bit of work.

I thought they did do that this year? I recall someone saying that. Fifa works in the same way as FM does, I imagine, with a database of player names. In Fifa, you send your youth scouts to defined regions, with defined parameters, and they'll return a bunch of randomly generated players. The more they scout, the more accurate their report is.
