Hi guys, so update in my ML. I'm still in group stage, with one game left in Signal Iduna Park, against Borussia Dortmund. Need a draw to go through. I have won against Sparta Praha in their home, but conceeded a draw in my stadium. I also tied against Atletico Madrid (0-0). So 2 wins, 3 draws, 9 points.

In the league I am currently in 2nd season, in 4th position below the 3 big ones: Sporting, Benfica and Porto. I also drawn a couple of games, didnt lose no game yet.

Sounds like Mastour's counterpart in this game. I miss that kid in PES2015.

I've just sold André Gomes. Having Zé Roberto as a more than viable alternative to the #8 position he was going to have less and less playing time. €27m for an already declining player (still excellent, only speed was dropping) and the option to have him leaving peacefully were enough to convince me.

Guys, I noticed a couple of systematic faults in the AI gameplay (superstar mode), that turn the game whether extremely easy, whether extremely hard.

- AI MAKING GAME HARD: Has anyone noticed (or it is just me) that 99% of all free kicks go in? I mean, I play in the portuguese league against teams with average players and I get guys from Moreirense and Tondela netting me free kicks that would make Roberto Carlos jealous. I mean, I am not saying it's impossible for a player of a low-key team to score a mad free kick but... almost every damn time? And even selecting manual goal-keeping I can't defend it!

- AI MAKING GAME EASY: About an aspect of the game that allows me to make over and over silly and easy goals in the Master League: I see teams, probably the ones playing with short-pass tactics I guess, that in every foul or goal kick pass the ball to the nearest player. No joke: the vast majority of times I can guess where the ball is going and if with a fast striker nearby (my man Origi!) it's easy to intercept and run for the goal.
I might take a screen capture of one of those moments because it is just stupid how the keeper can short-pass the ball to his teammate when my striker is so damn close!

Does anyone face this issues or some other?

I bought Ziyech and Boateng (buying an ageing Grand Master... what's gotten in to me??). Didn't realise Ziyech was over 180cm. I thought he'd be a midget.

Boateng is class, he was a first team regular until Bazoer started to wake up and show his quality.

I also had Ziyech, one of my first signings at the start of my ML with Mallorca. He's very good at dribbling, with more physical strength than you think and a quality left foot for shooting form distance, but he peaked at 84 OR for me at 26yrs old so I had to let him go.

Here are the new stars for the middle of the park.

Looks like you've got some decent regens coming through. I used to loan some out but with all the GMs and training boosts I have now there's no point...even if they play every week for their loan club they still won't gain as much by the time they come back.

I've decided against starting a new ML (I normally have a final hurrah with some random team in the summer before the new game comes out) Now i'm just going to keep at it with Mallorca and see how much I can achieve. I've got some decent youngsters in my squad with some nice regens (Totti & Ribery) that I want to develop.

If the player taking it has over 80 in FK Accuracy yeah, they go in no matter what. And if they select two players near the ball, if you try to jump when the first strikes the ball, he will just go over it. Then the 2nd player takes it for real, and you can't jump again. Also, if there's just one player near the ball, you can never jump.

Yep, they pass to the nearest defender who isn't being pressured by your player. If you rush there you might get the ball. But the game is broken and your player just "dies" until the defender gets the ball. Ridiculous at the very least.

I had my eyes in Júlio Cesar, best GK in the game (not even joking). When he retired Benfica went from 1st in the league to 15th, and conceded 4 times more goals. He's 19, at Basel, and I just drew 2-2 with them. He saved 11 shots on target.

But still, I won't push my rules too far and will stick with Helton.

I normally keep my striker close, don't rush to the ball and when the keeper passes to the nearest defend I intercept it, sometimes I foul them. But I found that a pretty weird bug, like ok they have short pass tactics but they should be programmed to not do that silly mistake, like over and over again. However, I played against Nacional da Madeira, they have long ball tactics and they never pass to the nearest defender.

In what concerns to the free kicks, I even get low rated players, lower than 80 to score me free kicks... like every single times. I already convince myself its going to be a goal, if there is a free kick nearby.

Oddly enough Sergio Ramos made the opposite move in my game. The number of high profile transfers that would be impossible in real life is way too high in this game.

I've just sold a 30-year-old Flávio Ferreira for €19m. He was still a great player, but I've lost count of the goal I've conceded because of him. Those AI bugs where the players just don't move, or forget the ball, etc, happened with worrying frequency with that man. Luisão (who has portuguese nationality) was the chosen one to replace my lvl. 3 General. Not even similar players, but Fábio Cardoso and Ricardo Carvalho provide plenty technique to the back 4.

Here is my Totti, looks like he's slightly ahead of yours in development at the same age and is much faster but as I said i've been constantly training him up on speed since he signed. He might have a bigger training boost as well..?

Yeah... I never play for that long. In PES 6 I once split one of my MLs into 2. So I played for the usual 5 season, saved my team data, then played for another 5 and saved my team data as a new team. But that was back when you had the likes of Shimizu etc.
