The Master League Experiences Thread

Well his development is quite slow, so I can't see him getting that good in the amount of seasons I'm gonna play.

Exactly the same problem I'm having with Renato Sanches. I just feel he could be so much better. And the fact he is one of the few players that hasn't "flourished" doesn't help.

Well Sanches has improved by about 2/3 points for me so far, so fairly steady development. His graph does seem to level out at about 80OVR though, which is a bit shit for a 76 rated 18yr old.

So they expect the man to develop only 2 more points? Rubbish.

I believe you've seen my big post earlier in the thread. Anthony Lopes Development Graph is anything but accurate, and he has developed even more since then.

Also, my Renato is based on some player I edited, so it's more than likely that they will behave differently. I wonder why Konami removed the "development style" option.

The development graph is technically just an estimate. For instance, my Di Natale is supposed to reach his peak of 90 OVR at age 25, but he passed 90 at 21 years of age and is in the 100s well before 25.

If you keep selecting Sanches, and giving him as much playing time as possible, he should go over 80 OVR. Helps if you have a maestro/grand master at his position, but a level 3 youth prospect at 18 years of age will also get more experience points per game than a bog standard 18-year-old will.

Just finished my first season with Man City. Won the premier league title with 85 points, Chelsea came second with 82 points. There were moments where I just thought it wasn't going to happen. Final game I needed a draw to guarantee title but ended up losing to Man Utd 1-0, Chelsea needed to win their final game by 8 goals but they ended up losing.

The team that won the title:
GK - Cech
Defenders - Walker, Kompany, Varane, Clichy
Midfielders - Pogba, Silva, De Bruyne
Forwards - Aguero, Ronaldo, Neymar

Subs - Wright, Sagna, Mangala, Otamendi, Zabaleta, Sterling, Navas, Nasri, Young, Carrick, Drogba, Iheanacho

A measly £9 million prize money for all the stress I had to endure. Looking forward to starting my second season, sold Sagna and signed Alaba and Bale.

Starting my 5th season (the 4th flew by) in good fashion.

Guys if you dribble a lot, the opponent players will foul you frequently. Not much PK but some free kicks. :)

I recently started a new ML with Academica and here is my current XI, before a game versus Benfica (won 0-1 with a goal from Parejo). This was in the beginning of February, next to the end of the winter transfers.

I got Eto, my key strike with 21 goals currently in this season, who is benched in this game due to lack of stamina and Bertrand, Southampton player, amazing left back, also left out due to bad form.

Found some amazing players, really cheap! Look up for player stats not to their overall!

Apparently if you buy GMs/Legends but never play them they refuse to renewal their contracts. Who knew.

More videos and pics later this afternoon, featuring Konami's logic.

Chelsea vs Spurs the other week was basically an ML rivals match.

Best way to describe these matches. I watched the last 10 mins (86 onwards) and either it was 4 yellows and should've been 6, or 6 yellows and should've been 8. The referee had quite a night :D

For what's worth, most over-the-top tackling and intensity I've seen since the Battle of Nuremberg.

I don't know about you, but when I see the CPU getting away with so many outrageous fouls, the red mist descends on me and I start retaliating. It's not just the fouls, it's the fact that the bullshit level seems to be elevated in rivals matches - more misplaced passes etc.

When I reach the point of utter disbelief in this universe (so many fucking shit goals I've "conceded" in those derbies...) I pause the game, get up, go to the fridge, drink something, and get back to the game 5 mins later. Then try to finish it as calmly as possible, whatever the score may be.

Then exit ML, go to exhibition mode, choose two random teams, and make my mission to get 4 red cards in less than 60 minutes. Just hit them, you know?

It's therapeutic really. btw relevant, one of my favourite PES videos ever made. Keep annotations on.

Time for the photos.

Oddly enough, this is what happen when you select a player, who has retired, to the NT. He appears there, all's good, but he doesn't exist anywhere. Konami Logic Evidence #1.

And Konami Logic Evidence #2.

GMs/Legends may cost you in wages, but repay in bonuses.

Money which was promptly deposited in Gonçalo "Gold Digger" Paciência's bank account.

Dortmund truly is a good opponent to have in Champions League.

And at last I manage to complete destroy Benfica in a derby. What a game this was. Iuri injured (went to the locker room) after 37 mins, only noticed around the 80' mark.

Looking very strong mate, always look forward to a big ‘Data Dump’ of screenshots from yourself - Mr Robot style!

1. R. Sanches has dreads now in my PES as well, it has got to be done! I’m looking forward to signing him up soon (possibly in a new ML)

2. Neves, what a guy! 85 OR and his spider graph already looks like Fabregas’. I believe the phrase ‘textbook’ may not do him justice….I will have to find another Alan Partridge quote..!

-"oooh you're nicer than my wife!"

3. Looks like the training boosts are working well for you, case in point, Bernardo Silva! I bet he’s as fun to play with as Coman is for me - give that man the ball and watch him go! (P.S. have you seen my Coman recently…?)

4. I see Mr. Quaresma a.k.a. The Portuguese Playboy a.k.a. Mr. 2 TVs has crept back into your squad, and not for the first time….”Jack-anack-anory"

Edit:

Just seen that Neves & Sanches are on over 80% training boosts! CRAZY! sky's the limit!

I have Coman on the left and Carrasco on the right. They are amazing!

Hi guys, so I reached second season after completing 2015/2016, winning the league with a 2 point difference! I lost the portuguese cup in the final against Benfica in the penalty shootout (I hate penalties in this game, specially against COM!).

I lost only one game, 2x1 against Uniao da Madeira (LOL!) but I drew a lot. In this season I decided to get a better striker because Eto and Alcacer are a bit slower and get stronger and faster full backs.

This is my current XI in my first Champions League game in Vicente Calderon, against Atletico.

Elmonovoski is a youngster from my academy, which is growing as a wild beast in the right back :) I got him with 65 overall and just half a season later he is already 73!

And here is my captain, the wall, the beast: Heitinga!

Won 0-1, Origi tapped it in :)
