Seeing how there are all these problems with PES 2008, and how we in the US got WE:2007 compared to europes PES 6, does anyone we will get a fixed version, with updated rosters like we got in 07' and jersey's? And somewhat different gameplay? I hope so, because i remember when 07' came out on ps2 they cut down on the hair styles and some other crap when it came to editiing, now its just scary knowing that we might not be able to see a custom option file like we've seen in the past!!!!

when you're playing an offline league (with 2 or 3 human teams, rest CPU) you can't play with the CPU teams anymore, I consider this a major problem because now you have sit there and watch your friend play against the CPU if you want to do an offline league.

2.
In League Mode strip selection before the game should be back (it is possible in Exibition), my brother who plays with Juventus encounters many problems because of this (he's never been able to play in Juve's 2nd strip).

For the rest great game. And I hope the next patch (if any) will fix these 2 problems.

I totally agree with both your points. I've suffered terrible kit clashes on many occasions, especially when I played newcastle for a couple of seasons. I've edited my current ML team to a fluorescent yellow home and fluoro pink for the away so don't get many problems there tho - LOL! Why not just give us the change strip option?
Also why don't your ML players have their correct scores when you select them for an exhibition match? They've got no development. Bos going from 75 speed to 65 renders him unplayable against fast human opposition. Half the fun I've always had with PES has been developing good ML teams and playing them against mates that have done the same. If there's a way round this I'd luv to hear it cos there does not appear to be any save "my team data" option that there was with the PS2.
Fair play tho! there are a lot of improvements but as mentioned several times in this thread, they have strangely lost several key bits of the last version.

I'm not so angry at Konami for the single player experience or even local multiplayer. What really pisses me off is the online experience. I mean FUCK!!!! This has been going on ever since Winning Eleven 9 on the original Xbox. This is seriously fucking bullshit.

im pissed off today, i went to get my ps3 copy of pes2008 at the local gameshop and they did not have it, i was so angry i knocked down a shelf of game boxes and left.

the game was supposed to be out today here in america,why am i best without it? i have fifa but its just not pro evo.

im thinking that there wont be a lot of people online in ps3 and most will be in ps2 since not everybody have a ps3 yet, can that be possible?? i hope not
