The Official Daymos & Macheda OF Tweaks Thread

There is no denying that D&M have done an absolutely steller job and put in a lot of hard work and hours to bring this OF to us.

This thread isn't aimed at what they may or may not have got right, it's more to help each other with certain details, such as players names, stats, likenesses, team formations, addition of players, building of stadiums etc etc so we all get a near perfect game as possible.

My thanks again to D&M for the OF, it truly is a thing of wonder.

Leeds tweaks

As a keen Leeds fan, I made quite a few changes to make it more realistic. I doubt many of you will go to the lengths I did, but nevertheless this is what I did..

*Changed the Nunez who was already created in the squad to Somma, our second top scorer this season. I changed these things about Nunez to change him into Somma:
- changed nationality to South African
- age to 25
- increased height to 1.85
- increased weight to 82
- hairstyle changed to a more Ibrahimovic looking style
*Added Andy O'Brien from Bolton, McCartney from Sunderland, Nunez from Honduras
*Changed shirt numbers:
White to 32
Bromby to 26
Somma to 27
O'Brien to 40
McCartney to 29
Nunez (the new one transferred in from Honduras) to 33
*Gradel is not white! Changed his skin colour, hairstyle & eye colour
*Bessone was spelt incorrectly as Basone
*Removed Andy O'Brien's first name
*Edited positions and strongest sides for the following players:
Johnson - added SB, WB, DM, CM, SMF, AM as registered position (didn't add all but I can't remember what his default ones were so they are the positions he can play in). Changed favourite side to left.
Kilkenny - added AM
Howson - added AM, SMF. Changed favourite side to right.
Snodgrass - added AM, SS, SMF (registered position)
Gradel - added AM, SS
Collins - removed SB
Hughes - removed CB, added SB, WB, DM (registered position), SMF
Watt - AM, SMF (registered position). Changed favourite side to left.
Sam - added SMF (registered position). Changed favourite side to both.
Somma - removed AMF, added SS, WF, CF (registered position). Changed favourite side to both.
Clayton - added AM, CM is registered position
Grella - SS (registered position)
*Edited strongest foot for the following players:
Collins - should be right footed
Snodgrass - should be left footed
*I also changed formation, team style and kick takers to mirror real life. I doubt if anyone wants to be as meticulous as me when it comes to making Leeds as perfect as possible, but if you do then let me know and I'll list what I selected for the team style and kick takers, and can add a picture of the formation if needs be.

Some great changes there. I intended on starting as Leeds too so I'm quite keen to get those changes made.

Sorry about any Leeds errors man, i just verified and it was my source that got them wrong and not myself or Daymos.
Anyway i will be uploading a new edit.bin within a week with more accurate apperances and also to create the likes of Neymar, I hope you don't mind me using your Leeds changes to make this better.

Palace tweeks. Davids has left as has Lee. Marrow needs creating as does O'Keefe and Counago. In my eyes Ambrose should have a better free kick accuracy than 60, he is quality and Clyne needs moving to right back not left. Also we usally play 4-4-2. Zaha and Vaughn up front. Ambrose and Danns wide, Garvan and Marrow in the middle. Speroni should be made unbeatable too lol.

No problem- with the amount of work you guys have done there's no need to apologise mate.

You're more than welcome to use my changes- after all, it is yours and Daymos' work that I tweaked. Regarding the edit.bin you're looking to upload next week, I've e-mailed one to Daymos with all the changes listed above. I haven't touched any player stats whatsoever. If you like, I can e-mail it to you also so you can save yourself half an hour... Could give you time to concentrate on creating key first team players Ross McCormack & Amdy Faye...

I think it's pointless to discuss ratings of players.. So let's report ERRORS like face color/hair or position.

Stats would be too much work.

Stats are peoples opinions anyway. I always tweak Arsenals to how I see fit, Nasri this year for example is something like 78 overall. I'm not having that.

Exactly! I also altered a lot of stats for Nottingham Forest, but i don't much of the people here would care about 2 points if they just enjoy a Npower League game..

Gradel (leeds) + Emnes (boro) are white for some reason :S
Pires: change age to 37 + nationality setting to french and im sure he's taller than 180cm
Schafer: age to 26 + nationality to germany
Gebhart, Gentner and Niedermeier all need nationality set to germany
Degen:nationality to switzerland
Kuzmanovic: nationality to serbia
Madlung: age to 28
Riether : age to 27
Bah: nationality to guinea

Probs not the right thread but has anyone else noticed that some team kits have scanned badges on their kits and not the emblems which are turned off. I've thought about changing them but I'll probably arse it up lol.

It's delibrately like that so we can edit V3 quicker.

Okay. Does that mean they will be different in V3? I noticed it's only mainly the championship teams that don't have the emblem on their shirts.

Yeah I will do two version 3's.

V3a will be Npower league with emblems and Scottish league without (but visible on the shirts)
V3b will be Scottish league then Npower without (but they'll be as they are now on the shirt.)

For Example,
If you choose V3a you wont be able to see club emblems on Scottish teams in the team selection or league modes but you will on the kits. V3b is vice-versa.

P.S. I don't like this thread. Think it's disrespectful to D & M.

You're entitled to your opinion but it's in no way disrespectfull. It's mearly a way for people to share information so certain aspects of the OF that maybe D&M don't really know about can be amended. For example, I don't know a lot about Leeds, the players (what they look like as a further example), the formation, etc but a Leeds fan would, so isn't it better I get the information off them. It's about making the game as realistic as possible. Another example would be the players that are black, but are white on the game. Maybe not a major factor in playing the game, but it might matter to someone.

This thread was never about what D&M got wrong, it's about making changes to match the real player/team, which D&M may not have known about.
