PES 2008 X-box 360 Controls
Hi all,
I have been playing PES for a few years now but only as a pure novice. Now I have a new Xmas Present (PES2008) I want to get REALLY good at it.
I know all the basic controls and how to do the basics (simple pass, shoot, long ball, through ball, run etc). Can anybody tell me the "advanced" controls. i.e. how to do certain tricks, and some people say double tapping some of the buttons will make players do other more advanced things.

I know a couple.
With Ronaldo, Henry and Drogba (Don't know who else) If you hold RB and either 45 or 90 degrees one way (can't remember which) they will do a flick that way.
Also, if you stand with LT then do back + LT then forward+ LT straight away the player will attempt a nutmeg.

There are several things I would like to know about the PES '08 PS2 version please. I have FIFA 08 on PS2, because of a lack of PES in Canada I guess (I have alway bought it in UK, used for around 5-10 pounds) and I want to know a few things about this version of the series as the reviews don't really help:
1.Do they use currency or points in Master League?
2.Are the graphics good? (remember on aPS2 basis)
3.What would you say about the gameplay? do players still glide around the pitch? Does the grass still look like green ice?
4.What are the good things about the game compared to FIFA?
5.What about special skills and tricks?
6.Does crossing passing and shooting require aim?
I have many more questions but can't seem to remember them, I'd liked to mention the fact that I always like that you could do continuous step overs (pedalada in portugeuse) as in FIFA you can only do 1 at a time. I like the amount of tricks available but some of them just don't feel right you know what I mean?
Oh y and, how is it for the Wii? I was thinking of buying one as the PS3 and 360 are waaay too pricey.
I also want to know how many licensed teams they have in which league and also which national teams are licensed.
Where I can buy it in Toronto would help too (maybe when 2009 comes out) please be honest, thank you!

1.they use points
2.on ps3 great on ps2 same thing really but abit different as all the other pes'
3.gameplay again is quite the same from all the pes' but again abit different
4.compared to fifa i personally think that fifa has really crap gameplay and very slow movements
5.there are quite afew new skills and tricks like if you hold down R2 when trying to skill up someone theyre more agile and focused on wot to do
6.well if you mean like directional pad to move diagnolly to shoot diagnol then yes.
well skills are much better on this new version and there are much more licensed teams in national but in the premier
league there is only unfortunatly tottenham (boooooooo) and newcastle.
i cannot see y in pes6 they had Arsenal (woohoo) (REDARMY!) and Manchester united (sigh) registered and now they lower class to teams that are crap.
overall i think you will enjoy the game very much if you buy it.
I cant believe theres only one ref on ps3 version,(pepe Reina),but my main thing is online messaging ,why cant you put your own ones on as that is the best thing playing online,especially when scoring?You could on last one on ps2 so i thought you would definetely on ps3.

Only 2 ways to get faces: You can scan using PSeye/Eyetoy yourself, or get a scanned image that someone else has done (usually as part of an OF).
As for the editing, sorry but your stuck with it. Patches may improve stuttering performance on & offline, but it is highly unlikely they will change any editing facility.

is their any cheats to unlock the classic teams on pes2008 for the ps3 ??

In PES2008 there is such "hidden" national teams like Latvia, China and many more - so the question is - is there any way to play with them?!?
Cause I can't find that way - of course if even it is there...
And even if I can't play with those teams is there any way to see those players stats, cause I am from Latvia and I want to make national team of Latvia...
