I agree with you guys. I think that Rossi needs to have his Attack stat in the mid 70s, for he is a support striker and doesn't stay forward all the time.

@ Cali Don't you think 81 for speed would be a bit much for Rossi because with a red arrow it would be around 83-85 which would be too much for Rossi's speed. i think 78 or 79 would be more appropriate.

The original Guiseppe Rossi stats can be found here.

I also belive that his shot.acc should be in the mid 80's and his shot.tec around 80.

81 for speed on a Red arrow would be 88, I agree that is abit to much.

Everyone now is talking about how people will be on a red arrow but have you thought what if the defender is on the red arrow. Plus, you should remember when you are on a red arrow you are on TOP form.

Kevin DOYLE - Reading

Reading signed Doyle for around £78,000 from Cork City in June 2005. Originally, he was signed as a back-up, but injuries to other players elevated him to the first team where his natural goalscoring ability and defence-splitting speed resulted in a goal-scoring spree. He became an intrinsic part of Reading's Championship-winning 2005-06 squad, and according to the Actim Index was one of the top players in the Championship. In April 2006, he was named as Championship Fans' Player Of The Year and one of the Championship Team of the Year by the PFA. After having a great season in the Championship (scoring 18 goals in 45 appearances) he then went on to have an even better season in the Premiership and scored 13 goals in 32 appearances, including a goal against Man Utd and also one of the quickest in Premiership history; hitting the back of the net just sixteen seconds into Reading's match against Sheffield at Bramall Lane. In recognition of Doyle's efforts for Reading in 2006, he was named the official Football Association of Ireland Young Player of 2006 on 4 February 2007, also receiving a nomination for the senior award. He was also nominated for the PFA's Young Player of the Year award, missing out to Cristiano Ronaldo who also took the senior award.

The things changed were attack (-1) stamina (-2) top speed (-1) accelaration (-1) dribble speed (-1) curling (+8) consistency (-1)

I increased curling by that much because whilst me and Red were discussing we decided that 78 is fair because:
Owen loves chipping the ball. And he can deliver some nice inside foot curls.

Daniel Agger, Liverpool

Daniel was born on 12th December 1984 in Hvidovre, Denmark. Daniel Agger left childhood club Rosenhøj BK at 12 years of age, to play for the youth team of Brøndby IF. In July 2004 he was moved from the youth squad to the first team. Agger quickly established himself not only as a first team regular, but as one of the bearing elements of the team that won the Danish Superliga 2004-05 championship. Despite his young age, he played with great authority under the guidance of Brøndby team captain Per Nielsen, and after the first half of the season Agger was named 2004 "talent of the year" by Spillerforeningen (the Danish equivalent of the PFA).

After the successful Superliga 2004-05 season, Agger was called up to the senior Danish national football team for the 1-0 friendly win against Finland on 2 June 2005, playing the full match. Agger would see the next national team match from the bench before playing the full 4-1 friendly win on 17 August 2005 over England alongside Per Nielsen, where he caused problems for the English strikers, most notably Wayne Rooney. Daniel Agger would play full time in the next two national team matches, before an injury sustained in the Danish Superliga 2005-06 season in September forced him out for the remainder of the year 2005. Only 20 years of age, Daniel Agger was awarded the Danish talent of the year of all sports on 6th December 2005.

Agger was long linked to a transfer to a bigger club, and in the January 2006 transfer window he joined Liverpool on a four and a half year contract for £5.8 million. The £5.8m transfer deal made him the most expensive footballer sold by a Danish club to a foreign club, as well as the most expensive defender Liverpool had ever bought  . His first half season at Liverpool was no success, as injuries kept him at four first-team appearances during spring 2006. He played ten games and scored three goals for the Danish under-21 national team, for which he was selected to play in the 2006 European Under-21 Championship tournament in May 2006. He was considered by many as a "Kop Flop".

Agger started off the 06/07 season playing the full 90mins and also putting in a good perfromance in the 2006 Charity Shield. he established himself in Liverpool's first team squad, competing with English vice-captain Jamie Carragher and former Finnish team captain Sami Hyypiä for the two starting places in the central defence. Agger scored his first goal for Liverpool on 26 August 2006 in a 2-1 win against West Ham United. Agger was allowed to run unchallenged toward the Kop-end goal and scored from 35 yards out (this goal was better than Heitinga's Robin). Rafa Benitez commented he was not surprised and that Agger has frequently scored such goals in training. The goal was named Goal of the Month for August by the BBC's Match of the Day. On 4 October 2006 he was given PFA's fan award for impressive and solid displays in September. Agger scored his second goal for the club in a Football League Cup away game against Birmingham City with a volley from close range in the seven minutes of first-half stoppage time. His third was against Arsenal scoring a header in a 4-1 victory played on 31 March 2007. In the first semi-final of the 2006-07 Champions League, Agger received some criticism as Liverpool lost to Chelsea 1-0, after Chelsea striker Didier Drogba managed to dribble past him before making the assist to win the game. In the second leg of the semi-finals, Agger answered his critics by scoring from a Steven Gerrard free-kick, and helping Liverpool holding a clean sheet as the team beat Chelsea 1-0 on 1 May 2007 . It was a sublime left footed, low shot into the bottom right corner of the goal at the Anfield Road end.

Jermaine Pennant, Liverpool

Jermaine was born 15th January 1983 in Nottingham. Pennant first played for Notts County at just the age of 15, whilst he was a trainee! He was soon snapped up by Arsenal for £2million, this was a record fee at the time for a trainee. He made his first team debut for Arsenal at the ge of 16 against Middlesbrough in the League cup, at the time making him Arsenal's youngest ever firt team player. Over the next couple of seasons he kept making League cup appearances but had to wait two and a half years for his League debut against West Ham. On his full league debut he scored a hat-trick against Southampton, and didn't score again for Arsenal in the league and was unable to regular place in the Arsenal eleven. Arsene started to lose patience with him because he had a habit of turning up to training late and his disciplinary problems. He was then sent on loan to Wolves, Leeds and then Birmingham before signing permamently for them. In the 05/06 season Birmingham were relegated to the Championship and speculation grew that he would leave the club.

In late July 2006 it was confirme that Liverpool had completed the signing of Jermaine on a four year contract for £6.7 million which could then raise to £8 million, with Arsenal expected to get about 25% of the fee. Pennant then gave a couple of good pre-season performances and made his debut against Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League 3rd round at Anfield where assisted Peter Crouch with a short cross to nod one home and Pennant went on to win the fans star man award. Pennant is now a regualar member of the first team and scored his first goal against Chelsea in our 2-0 home win against them :D (looping volley from outside of the box, I'm sure you all remember :D) He then went on to produc a great performance against Arsenal playing a major part in 3 of our 4 goals as we cruised to a 4-1 victory :D. After Pennant was not picked for the England squad against Andorra, he said that the lack of recognition for McClaren was 'frustrating'. Pennant then went on to be arguably one of our best players during the Champions League final. He made dashing runs on the right wing and produced a few good crosses for the strikers. After a pretty decent first season at Liverpool it has been confirmed that he will remain in the squad whilst Rafa will make major changed to the squad.

Fábio Aurélio, Liverpool

Fábio Aurélio was born September 24th 1979 in São Carlos. Fábio Aurélio came through the youth scheme at São Paulo, making his first team debut in 1997, and has represented Brazil at Under-17, Under-20 and Under-21 levels. He also played in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He joined Valencia after the Olympics on a six-year contract. The 2001–02 season would see his first major trophy win, when he helped Valencia to their first La Liga championship in 31 years. The next year, he established himself as one of the league's best left-backs with 8 league goals; 10 goals in all competitions. The 2003–04 season was another big year for Valencia, winning both the domestic La Liga championship as well as the European 2003–04 UEFA Cup tournament, beating Olympique Marseille 2-0 in the final. Aurélio missed most of the season with a broken leg, however, managing only two games.

It was confirmed on July 5th 2006 that he would join Liverpool. On the 13th August 2006 Fabio became the first and so far only Brazilian to play for Liverpool, coming on as a substitute in the 56th minute of the Reds' 2-1 win over Chelsea in the 2006 Community Shield. His best performance for us so far came in our 4-1 win over Arsenal, when he provided two assists for Peter Crouch and also an assist for Agger. On April 3, 2007 in the UEFA Champions League first leg tie against PSV Eindhoven, Aurelio was stretchered off the field on the 73rd minute after rupturing his achilles tendon and missed the rest of the 07/07 season.

After the signing of Fabio was announced Benitez said that he is a better passer of the ball than Alonso , which we found out wasn't true unsuprisingly. He also left Spain with a reputation of scoring freekicks but he has yet to score one for Liverpool, but he hasn't taken too many to be fair. Fabio had a fairly disapointing due to being plagued with injuries, but when he did play he put in fairly good performances, particulary just before his achilles tendon injury.

Nabil El Zhar, Liverpool

Here we have one of my favourite reserve players (along with Craig Lindfield), Nabil "ElZhario" El Zhar. This player certainly has something special and I believe he has what it takes to become Liverpool's next big thing.

Nabil was born on the 27th August 1986 in Alès, France. Although born in France, El Zhar opted to play internationally for the country of his parents, Morocco. However he has represented France at youth level. In the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship El Zhar was one of the stars of the tournament, and helped guide Morocco to the semi-finals, where they were defeated 3-0 by Nigeria. Morocco ended the tournament in fourth place after a 2-1 loss to Brazil.

Nabil El Zhar is currently involved in the Liverpool set up, having been unhappy with the new contract offer from Saint-Étienne. He made his debut for Liverpool reserves against Sunderland on 28 September 2006. Following that match, he signed a contract with Liverpool and made his official debut against Newcastle in a reserves match on 3 October 2006. He scored his first goal, from the penalty spot, in a reserve 'mini-derby' against Everton on 10 October 2006.

El Zhar was named as a substitute for Liverpool on 29th November 2006 for the home game against Portsmouth and was brought on in the 71st minute for Luis Garcia. His second appearance also came against Portsmouth, in the away game on 28th April 2007, coming on for Momo Sissoko in the 83rd minute and almost creating a goal for Craig Bellamy. He got another 26 minutes under his belt during the disappointing 1-0 defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage on 5th May 2007, when he replaced Jermaine Pennant.

El Zhar never got a chance to shine in the first team, even though he played consistently well in the reserves. Nabil is naturally gifted with great technique and brings flair to any team he plays in. He is certainly one for the future to look out for, and will surely be given more opportunities next season, (I hope so anyway).
