...or mainland Europe that is if you live in the UK as the connection on MLO just isn't upto it. The reaction time is appalling & for me it will never get any better as the vast majority of UK football gamers seem up have switched to FIFA. Therefore the connection never seems to get any better as I seem to play Joey Foreigner on his elastic band connection. Yes the games improved in terms of gameplay but the same old issues apply to PES online as always, massively flawed or just not invested in. Sadly for me after 20 years it may be time to go to the dark side for a better online game.

It has always been the same for me on PES2011, every time I'd play anyone from Spain I'd have issues online while I could get away with games against people from the Middle East and even Greece at times without major issues.

I'm having exactly the same problem and its doing my head in, so frustrating its unbelievable! :realmad: I play quick matches online and id say 7/10 matches are against foreigners and most of them have awful connections and the lag totally ruins the game and makes playing matches near impossible because passes and shooting are delayed!. And I know they are foreigners because there P.S id names are foreign eg Pedro or Jose etc! I'm with Virgin who have the fastest fibre optic broadband in the U.K. and I have tested my speeds n.download rates and there tops! I didnt have any problems online on PES2012 and I played alotttt of online games. 1 foreigner messaged me today in Spanish so I said English? and he had the cheek to reply saying if I was messing with the signal that I was a bastard! The idiot clearly thought I was Spanish and that I was the problem so I messaged him back saying he was the problem as its Spain - UK signal! There's maintenance being done on the servers tomorrow so hopefully that with continued maintenance might resolve the problem or maybe not if the problem lies in Spain! Who knows!? I hope soo much they can sort it though as I mostly play Online and would be gutted if this continues. 1 thing for sure is Il never turn to the dark side if Fifa!

Yep it's a complete joke & no amount of maintenance will fix it, the servers are just not good enough, same story every year. Italians & French are just as bad when I play them, tho online quick matches arnt as bad as MLO. It needs a dedicated UK only server but as there's maybe 200 UK online players maximum it won't happen.

Get a better internet provider instead of using the cheap skate ones. I get no problems running it through fibre optic broadband connection.

Nothing to do with my connection it's to do with the peer to peer servers, if you're I'm the UK you suffer against some tinpot weak foreign connection. Why I'm responding to a reply from you Ultimate is beyond my rational thinking haha
