The PES 2013 "Rage" Thread

Throughout this whole forum is complete negativity about pes this year. ML is destroyed, league mode gone, so what are we left with? It took them a year to do this to pes? Is this what we wanted? Is this what they think we wanted? Somethiing totally wrong here....i'm not getting it.

I enjoyed PES 2012 but I think they have broken this years game play.
Crossing is broken. My target man with very good heading stats can't head a paper bag then again he is not is the correct position as he is always 2 steps behind the defenders or going out to the wing. Stat in the center where the ball will be ya tit.

AI keepers are amazing the saves they can pull off, my keeper useless

defending is easier except when in stoppage time and the AI has its first attack of the game and scores

The auto save in ML and BAL is pissing me off I don't want to save after every message from the staff especially during transfer season

I sure I'll have a few more gripes soon. Just disappointed this year
I know they can't please everyone but this year it seems they have done a half assed job and are working on the next gen. which will prob be terrible and they will have to evolve again for a few years. Sorely tempted to switch to FIFA this year

The boot feature is still the most ridicoulus thing i have ever seen in a football game so far. To actually give boots such an importance and even stats is just a big joke

btw. Played pes till Pes3. Pes12 was greatest so far and 13 seems very good as well. Most likely 14 will be a step back as they're implementing new engine then.

You played PES 3? I mean till PES 3? Yet you have played 12 and 13? Thats some horrible grammar or some sort of 4th dimension crack you be smokin'.

But I agree, PES 14 will most likely be a cricket game.

I'm just looking forward to playing as Solid Snake or Sonic the Hedgehog, yeah that's the direction I see this going south.

CPU pressing is too intense, they should tone it down. CPU always seems to score the same why by using the through ball no matter how well you defend.

What they should have done is kept ai same as in 2012 but just improve animations and goalkeepers. AI defending is too good in 2013 which takes the fun out of the game.

Let's have a brilliant idea, we'll license the Copa Libertadores... and the best thing is.. you can't do anything with any of the players!! Hahahah!! You can't transfer, base copy, edit... anything..

And we continue to excel ourselves.. we can't license many teams.. so for fun.. we'll make up default kits in completely different colours.. for no reason.. ever fancied being a green Brazil.. I know I have.. that way these teams are pretty shambolic until someone creates the kits for us.. and we get paid, they do not..

And just to make this years game all the more epic.. we'll do what every football fan in the history of gaming has wanted.. we'll delete the league modes..

Someone deserves a raise.

today , 3/10/2012, i played a quick match ( coach mode ) in pes 13 ( mlo) and i faced "TOLGAHANACAR" , his team worth more then 200 million for sure , and pes is not even 2 weeks out!! , anyway when he saw my line up , he start suping off start , like c ronaldo and others , and he played with etoo and aguero the whole game , anyway at the minute 82 , luckley my team scored one goal by villa , assisted by sneijder after that the game start to lag and the game canceled i don't know how to report to pes that , and i know how this guy and the other cheaters get their players , by making the game lag when they find them self losing and if they are winning they just finish the game , and you find their rating is over 900 and they squad is full of stars , anyway if pes don't do something about it , then i might just go and sell the game , and the guy i faced TOLGAHANACAR if he is reading this i just want to tell him to go f*** him self .....

What I will say is gonna sound counterintuitive. Honest players who take cheating that seriously are no better than cheaters themselves.

Ok, let me start by saying that I like PES 2013...

...well, I did until I came up against a superstar team in MLO and watched every single shot by Rooney, Ronaldo, Benzema and Lampard fly into the back of my net. It appears to me that if you know how use this sort of player they are pretty much infallible when shooting.

I must point out that this is not sour grapes, I fully expect to lose against such a superior team but the manner in which it was done is completely out of proportion to real life. I've never seen such pure thunderbolts hit the back of my net every single time one of these 'stars' has a shot... in my opinion the shooting is far too exaggerated for the top players.

I think I used up my swearing while playing PES 2012, my Mom may prove that to you. TBH I swear much much less when playing PES 2013, I like PES 2013.

Although 1 incident in one of my ML fixtures pissed me off big time.
It goes like this:
In D2 league, in penalty box I press Square button to clear the ball away to midfield, a AI player long pass the ball to a AI CF who are surrounded by my 2 CBs in P box, AI CF traps the ball onto top of his
head, perfectly redirect it towards my goal and the ball fall down right on his left foot, AI CF's body not even touching my 2 CBs, then VOLLEY it into the net, my goallie stands in the goal, do not do shit.

Come on KONAMI, you can not screw around like this.

PES 2013 annoys me!

I fully expect this post maybe deleted or some people will think I am a FIFA fanboy trolling on this forum. Well, I am not, I am a long time PES player, and I have been buying PES instead of FIFA for so many years. But seriously, PES 2013 annoys me, here are the reasons:

1> I usually play on professional difficulty and switch to top player once in a while. Any logical person would expect higher difficulties mean smarter AI, sure! The AIs are not only smarter, they are also on steroid! Under the AI control, some random defender from the China team can run as fast if not faster than my Cristiano Ronaldo, and their forwards are so fast that Pepe and Marcelo can have a problem keeping up with them. Not to mention the moonwalk sidestep crap they can do. On the other hand, my team gets dumber, and Casillas have the reaction time of an old lady that any decent striker will score 99% against him 1 on 1. Just to make the game more frustrating, the AI keeper is like a panther on crack, scoring is not easy even when 1 on 1.

2> The referee, really Konami?! I have to say Konami has done a great job and captured the essence of a rigged football game by simply turning the referee against the player. Simple tackles get fouled to hell or even carded, while the obvious fouls get ignored. I don't even remember how many times my players have been taken down violently by the AIs with no whistle. I even saved the replay of an offside goal scored by the AI, this game is more frustrating than any older PES because of Konami's dirty referee. They should just add the bride referee option in ML!

3> ML, BAL, same crap every year without any significant improvements, and same unreasonable non-sense they never bother to fix. I used to think EA is the company that release the same piece of junk with new coating every year to milk their customers like sheep. Now, I think Konami deserves that title more.

4> The control and player AI is laggy and stupid, and no match compare to the lightning fast reaction of the AI opponents. Cursor change gets you on the wrong person all the time. Anyone would expect cursor change will let you assume control of the player closest to the ball and actually have a chance to get possession, it is not rocket science. But no, you get someone that is not even there, and the guy in front of the ball just watch the ball goes by like an idiot.

5> Commentary, I don't think I need to explain that, we all know how bad it is, and Konami is obviously not giving a damn about it. Same crap every year with a few new lines.

6> Online is pretty unstable, not enough contents, and it takes forever to get an opponent.

If I don't see a patch that fix some of these issues, (especially the referee, and the laggy controls) PES 2013 will most likely be my last PES... :angry:

3.Feints doesn't work on CPU, you just look retarded when you try to dribble with some cool move

I hate the made up names. They're so bloody stupid. In the next game, they need to give all players FULL names, then for the fake players/defaults, give them REAL LIFE surnames, but make their first names unique.

Sore losers

Every time im playing a game and im winning like 3-0 or more everyone just leaves like ******* and i and i sure that alot of other people when we win games we get like 1.3 to 1.8 m and when they leave match we only get like 650k thats how much money i get when i lose its like im losing money when they leave. In the next patch they should really fix this to when someone disconnects you get the money that u get when u win.

I think after 12 years I'm gonna quit PES for good, I feel robbed for the second year in a row.
No I'm not going change to FIFA(I hate the gameplay) even though they have a great quality, they listen the FANS.

ABOUT KONAMI:

- They don't say s**** to the fans, they removed game modes like LEGEND ONLINE and LEAGUE MODES and they stay in silence, it's really disrespectful to the fans.

- The Konami servers are s**** I know they always were, last year I tried Fifa for the first time(after selling PES) and I've played in a lot of rooms Legend Mode, I even played only with 1 friend who has a really shitty connection (2MB) and surprise surprise, NO LAG, this year I can even can make a decent game 1vs1 (my connection is 60Mb).

- The rainbow master league lol, one of my favorite features in PES is the free editing(unlike FIFA that you have to pay) I compare PES fans in this forum like a family, some contribute with KITS other with FACES and so on and so on, I really love to edit PES and play with the real player boots now we have BLACK BOOTS FOR EVERYONE, so stupid...

- Transfers, last year I put the best players in the LIBERTADORES TEAMS in a created DIVISION 2, so I had really decent teams in D2, this year I can't even do that, thank you KONAMI.


PS: Some people say KONAMI support told them that LEGEND MODE ONLINE will feature in the next DLC, to be honest I don't believe that, Konami doesn't care about the fans.
