Thanks to cjshp for posting that image.
Now who can translate it for us?

I think the left column shows the arrows in order:

Red up
Orange Diagonal up
Blue Diagonal down
Grey down
Yellow Cross Injury
Yellow recovering injury
Red recovering injury

[Just edited the above to the correct ones]

And the headings at the top of the other columns show the names for the skills. With the value indicating the difference that you get depending on which arrow you are on.

It's all very interesting - now let's find someone nice who can translate it :)


Edit- To make it easier for those who don't want to read through the whole thread, here is a better picture:



phelan has calculated the chances of receiving form arrows when they are set to "?" in the game settings.
They are not truly random as was previously thought.

"there's about 50% chance of a green arrow, 20% chance of yellow and blue arrows, and 5% chance of getting red and grey arrows."

Here's how it works:
Red arrow = 5%
Yellow arrow = 20%
Green arrow = 50%
Blue arrow = 20%
White/Grey arrow = 5%

no, Green right is normal (+ 0 )

Yellow recovering is - (minus values )

but surley zyg is right?

red arrow indicates 100% fit, so surley anything less than 100% fit would be bad!

which is why green is bad.

are these what effect they have on the players attributes?

so if a player has a red arrow does this mean his attributes will all go up +12?

You're supposed to look at the arrow and then link it to the column for the skill shown at the top. Seems that each skill changes by different values for each arrow. They don't all change by +12 but most of them do change by +12 or +9 on a red arrow.

Not sure which stat is for shooting but when Van Basten is on a red arrow, his shooting accuracy could increase (if shot acc stat is up there) by +6, +9 or +12 giving him a red accuracy of either 105, 108 or 111! Get in there!

cool i didnt realy know tha tha arrows increased points, but all i know is the higher the arrow facing the betta tha player gonna be playing
since i have pes3 and not we7 i dont have grey arrows or oranges

from what i can remember is

red= best performance

yellow/might be orange in we7= 2nd best performance above average

green= average

blue= bad... below average

purple= complete shit and will loose ball LOL

yellow+ = injured

red+ =injured badly and will be out for longer

and the other ones are just recovery

Wow I didnt know there was so many differences between the arrows. I knew that when a player has a grey arrow i shouldnt select him. But so many differences...phh

I believe that the meanings for the arrows will be the same for PES3 and WE7 - there isn't any real reason for them to be different.

I'm not sure whether these values are the ones that have always been used for PES and WE since the stats changed from being out of 19 to out of 99. Maybe PES1, PES2, WE5, WE6, WE6:FE and WE6:I all had the same stat changes as the ones shown here?

yea i didnt think there was too much difference, i only really noticed when i just stopped playing pes 1 though i would like to find sum more info on this about the points going up when the arrows are higher

One thing is strange, there are only 22 skills in the yellow box, but in the game we have about 28-30 skills. Is this really for PES3/WE7 ? So which skills are missing ? That would mean that there are skills which aren´t affected by the arrows.
