Is it a % that going to be added?
Exemple...

Player has Kick power 80
He is on a red arrow... so 12 is the number that's going to be added.
1) Then is it 12% of 80 that is added?
or
2) Is it 12 points that is added?

There is a difference...
1) 9.6 is added
2) 12 is added

A question for league-playing pros: Will a bad-form star player still play better than a good-form good player?

Taking MU for example, Ruud van Nistelrooy's arrow is in blue,or grey, while Saha's arrow is red. Since their stats only reflect their default stats, I'm not sure who'll perform better. In my case, will Nistelrooy's stats be lower than Saha's, based on their forms? How do I decide who to pick then, especially for important games?

I think it's time PES programmers modified the stats on the formation strategy to reflect players' current forms, this will definitely make it easier for casual gamers like me pick my first 11..

well if van nistlerooy is blueor even worse gray i would play some one else instead just my opinion as when theirgray they seem to pick up injuries easier etc.

I'm not a pro, and I don't really know, but I'm quite certain that Saha will do better for you in red than a Nistelrooy in blue/grey. With grey, I think most stats drop around 8-15 points, while up 8-15 on red, though I could be wrong. (some stats more stationary than others)

duno if any1 has said this but, i jus realised that evryone who was saying that points could go up to 111 if certain players had red form arrows, maybe its not because its going by percentages...so that doesnt mean it would go up 1 point for each percent does it;

wouldnt it mean that a person with 90 attack might go up quite a bit but a person at 45 would go up half as much?

im not good with percentages so im not sure myself but surely someone knows what i mean?

The maximum value reachable is 99. You're right about the smaller increase.

We should post up some players and what their stats would actually change to.

Yes, all the changes are percentage changes. So the better stats a player has, the more they are affected by the condition arrows.

I think that players CAN get into the 100+'s because when playing on my Master League I have players such as Rooney, C Ronaldo, Mathieu and Torres who are affected massively by the condition arrows despite having loads of stats in the 95+'s (my Ronaldo has ALL stats (other than defence and keeper) in 95+ and Rooney is the same without the heading and jumping!!).

Konami call the 95-99 region, the God region. Players with these ratings are truly world class. An increase from 96-97 is more significant than 86-87. According to the PES 6 guide anyway.

does it actually say that!!! makes sense if true, suppose thats why its harder for a stat to go above 95-96!!!

I believe the guide got it wrong as it doesn't mention a source for that imformation. I'm pretty sure only physical attributes are affected (balance, stamina, speed, response, dribble speed, shot power, and jump). Doesn't make sense for stats like agility and mentality to increase  .

Seabass himself mentioned these stats are affected by loss of stamina but I dont see any quotes about the condition arrows. In we9 I didn't care of Ruud was grey I used him if I was against a strong opponent and his shot was always the same. Sure he was slow and weak as hell but give him an opportunity and he'll put it away like he always does.

True, but when i play with my friends, we can easily see the difference when the arrows are red, green, blue or grey. With blue, or grey, i can see the difference in the way the players move and their speed around the pitch aswell as position. They dont seem to play the way u would like them to play. While having them in red, they seem to be playing sharper, smarter, faster then they would normallly play. I tend to choose my team around that. But if i have Henry in green and Waltord on Red, i will still stick to Henry. But say in Manchester United, i have Larsson and Saha, then i would go with the one in better form. Simple as that.

but i dont see a difference in speed when a player with a speed/dribbling rating of 95 get a red arrow...it seems like they are very similar...

That would have to do with the way Konami handles stats from 95-99. This is the reason why the chart is so flawed.

Basically it's good to choose a red if you have 2 similar players like you said. You can expect a healthy boost in all the physical attributes but forget about dribble, shot accuracy, technique and stats 95+.

The arrows mean nothing. What matters are the following:

- Playing a Human the game will always be rigged for a close contest. Health and Energy makes no difference.

- Playing the CPU, no matter what the arrows are set at, if you are in a tight championship battle for your league, the players will suck or be sweet depending on your table position.

The "Artificial Intelligence" is bundles of joy.

I don't agree on this one. It does make a difference if you have a few players with the RED arrows. However, the weaker human team will normally win against a team full of RED up or ORANGE diagonal up arrows.

i agree.....

ppl that say there is no obvious dif btween players red orange and greeen. to players blue and white are all wrong. theree is. the way they shoot, run, ability , strength there is a huge difference.
