I'm going to have to wait to do my teams again .. I need to get myself another memory card.. and get my ps2 cleaned.. so that it reads my software cd for my maxdrive!

When i do .. i am going to do my classic man utd team again and work on the J League team.. which i am still undecided..on the team yet...

I'd like to do a classic Euro Allstars and a classic World Allstars..too.. I was thinking of moving onto a 70's elite team.. just to see what the squad's hairstyle line up would look like?

:laugh: ..Maybe we could just scrap the 70's one and do an allstar team with laughable hairdo's.. Valderrama would have to be first name down.. his hairstyle was crazy!!

I made a "crazy hairdo"-team in pes 4 and it rocked! Higuita would be the obvious choice in goal...

I have big plans for creating teams here are some suggestions, just for fun:

Classic Versions of all the big teams: Juve, Milan, Inter, Barca, Real, Ajax, PSV, Lazio, Parma, Roma, Bayern, Dortmund, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs, River Plate, Boca, Santos, Corinthians...

Best of different Cups the obvious choices would be:
World Cup 90, World Cup 94, Euro 92, Euro 88, World Cup 98...and so on

Red Team: Only communist states(USSR, East Germany and so on)
Best of Africa: Self-explainatory
Big team: The tallest players...
Small team: The shortest players...
Big-hitters: Team with "middle shooting" - ability and high shooting stats

And so on, and so on.....

hi ive made a few ml teams but am confused about a few things.

i have ml best 11 saved of my best team in da game imo and wanna no how to make it avaliable to dl can someone give a step by step guide from start to finish please.
i have max drive. please say how to get onto drive do i crush is to max drive or copy? then once on pc how do i post a link to dl it?

also the teams that you are making do the players have improved stats eg from playing ml and gaining points or have you just created them and saved them as ml best 11.

i have a team of growth players that have developed 3 seasons that are quite young and nearly all at peak that is great for facing friends as all are pacy and good dribbling etc here it is

are you interested in these sort of teams eg good teams of different types eg under 21s, tallest players, euro all stars but with improved stats eg ronaldo wouldnt b in world because after a few seasons his stats have decreased and robinho have overtook him
or are you just making teams containing players whos stats haven't improved?

Hello ddb443 and welcome to the thread. To answer your question:
I create teams with stats that have not improved, since I mostly create classic teams(and their stats are excellent anyway).

But I still want you to post your teams! The more teams that are on this thread the better...We can never have too many!

Step by step guide to posting your teams

Here's a step by step guide to posting your teams on this thread.
I use a Xport 2.0, but I guess it is quite similar to a Max Drive:


1. Create your team and save it as a "My best eleven" - file.
2. Turn off your PS2.
3. Insert Xport disc in PS2 (make sure it is the ps2 disc!)
4. Make sure the usb cable from your ps2 to your PC are plugged in.
5. Turn on your PS2.
6. Start Xport software on PC.
7. Check if you are connected to the PS2 by clicking the mem card button.
8. Browse your mem card and find your "My best eleven"-file. Should be something like: P.E.Soccer5 No.1 ML.MY TEAM
9. Click the backup button. This will copy the file from your mem card to your PC.
10. Locate your file on your harddrive(should be about 80 kb, perhaps less if Max Drive-file)
11. Use winzip and zip the file...Give it a proper name.
12. Go into this thread, and click the reply button.
13. Give some info about the team and click the button called "Manage Attachments".
14. Click "Browse" button and locate your zip-file. Click Upload. Close Window.
15. Save Changes. You are done!

PS: If you have a Xport you don't have to zip the file because this forum recognises Xport-files.

ok ill post my best current players team with great players with improved stats makes beating friends slightly easier and i'll post the tallest players and any other teams you want just let me know i might do the treble season man u if anyone wants

I agree with all these teams, but the possibilities are endless! (We've got to have some funny ones definately!)

As I'm a PS2 man, I will get a maxdrive (Christmas present for myself, I think!) and hopefully we can cover all formats.

The bad hair team should be funny, plenty of candidates (Tarantini, Barnes with an afro, Sir "comb-over" Bobby Charlton, Roberto Baggio, Kevin Keegan, Chris Waddle, David Seaman....hmm, quite a few English players there! :laugh

What about a "ginger" team? Team Ugly? Players with funny names?

Plenty of potential.....

F.A.Q. about "My best eleven"-file

F.A.Q. about "My best eleven"-files (Or My Team Data)

Q: How do I make a "My best eleven file"?
A: Start Master League. Select Data - Records Room - My best eleven - Save My Team Data. Now choose a empty slot and save.
PS: Remember this slot if you are going to upload the file to this forum for other users to download, since you can not have two files in the same slot.

Q: What is a "My best eleven file"?
A: It is basically a file containing a team with it's own name, kit, players and formation. When you save the file, your current Master League team will be transferred to the file along with the current kit, player stats and formation. You can now use this file in exhibition matches.

Q: Will a "My best eleven"-file change or corrupt my Option-file in any way?
A: No.

Q: Does it matter which option file I use when using a "My best eleven"-file?
A: No.

Q: Can I use a "My best eleven"-file in Master League, Online, League- or Cup-mode?
A: No. You can only use it in exhibition matches.

Q: I have made a team and want to upload it, but I have forgot the save slot. What do I do?
A: Use Notepad to view the file. In between all the cryptic signs you'll spot something like :"P.E.Soccer5 No. 7". In this example the save slot is 7.

Q: Why would I waste my time reading this F.A.Q.?
A: You can create custom teams with custom kits, players and formations and we can all share them via a Max Drive or Xport! Imagine for example that you can download classic versions of all the great teams of the past and use them against your mates. This is now possible.
