I'm sure that's the correct order.
The difference between the two is marking means the players is good at tracking an opponent's movement and will stay close to them. Covering means that a player will cover any gaps in defence when a teammate is out of position and will be quick to respond to loose balls (insert joke here).

I've been looking at the stats for the Brazilian midfielder Eder (for World Cup 82) at this location: http://forum.pesinsight.com/showpost.php?p=97571&postcount=11.
They seem a bit high to me for someone who wasn't as well regarded as Zico, Socrates, and Falcao, but then I never actually saw the guy play. Was he really as good as this?
