The "what games have you just bought" thread

No (well - the demo), but my mate has it so I'll just borrow it from him.

I was hoping to play the HD version of 1 & 2 first it doesn't seem like it'll ever come to the West.

Yakuza 3 is quality. 4 is very good too, but the fact you play each part of the story as a different character can make it all feel a bit disjointed, but Shun Akiyama (the first of 4 you play as) is a brilliant character.

I've only just ordered it, will post my thoughts tomorrow!

You'll have completed it by the time you post a comment!

I'm thinking of trading a couple of old games in for it, that way I wont feel quite so cheated.

Pre-ordered this for the end of April, looking forward to another taste of the Ubiart engine

^^Cancelled the pre-order to the above, got far too many games to play and gonna try and work through the back log, that didn't stop this being bought though.

£5

Loved the HD play through, but think Wii Motion controls could make for a different experience when I eventually replay it :excited:

99 cents each on the US PS store.

Plenty else I would've gone for had I not already owned them. Braid, Tokyo Jungle & Plants vs. Zombies in particular.

It is happening again
Just bought Saints Row IV for £9.99 from Zavvi. That pretty much nails it down for PS+ next month.

Bought Battlefield 4 Premium since;
- Battlefield 4 is getting more enjoyable lately.
- It's on discount.
- Hardline is delayed until next year.

For PC, I'd definitely recommend http://cheapdigitaldownload.com.

Site where you can compare Digital Download prices and pick up the cheapest deals for PC games. Particularly good for Steam titles.

Just picked up Football Manager 2014 for £8.10 through doing so, when it would've been £35 if I was to buy directly through the Steam store.

:)

Therein lies a problem. Some of the sites listed on there steal keys in order to sell them at low prices. As with a game recently (I forget which), if a number of keys are stolen and deactivated by Steam, you've got no comeback.

EDIT: http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/06/30/steam-revokes-stolen-sniper-elite-3-keys

Bought this weeks humble bundle. Prison Architect Alpha (€27.99 on steam), Papers please, Hammerwatch and a load more for like 10 dollars!!!

Maybe the greatest indie bundle to date for anyone that buys these bundles.
