also, not everyone in this world speaks perfect english. i'm sure you know that "EVERYBODY MAKES MISTAKES" and spelling would be a minor mistake. This thread is more of a bigger mistake than a small spelling error.

so you actually believe it's konami's fault you are doing so bad in pes5??? well if it is what can you do about it?? here are your options

#1 - go play FIFA 06
#2 - go play pes4
#3 - go complain on a PES forum and get flamed by other members
#4 - play into the 10th min of a game and conceed a goal and press ALT+F4
#5 - practice playing PES5
#6 - read other threads regarding "pes5 is shtt!!! pes4 is better!" and see where they have gotten.

clearly you have chosen option #3, and you receive our flames. You can complain and say how bad something is but it's never going to change unless you actually go change all the codes by using C++. But i'm sure you dont have that kind of time because you have such a big social life :rolleyes:

* In those 10 matches I've gone in to tackles with my opponent and the ball pinballed and span away to one of his players EVERY FUCKING TIME, not ONCE did it spin to me. Not only that but it's span forward into the path of their strikers.

* My opponent has hacked me down, tripped me, pushed me off the ball and NOTHING. Not ONE card and only a couple of free kicks at best. I go in lightly to nick the ball off his toes and I average 10 fouls a game!!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't help that these 'flaws' are presented in the context of 'PES being the WORST GAME EVER' and other such nonsense. If someone came here and posted a thread saying "Hey, I noticed such and such doesn't work very well" he wouldn't get flamed. People that come to whine about the game sucking when it's quite obviously a player issue just get what they ask for, IMO.

Well, it'd be nice if people rose above it. I don't believe it is just a player issue, the game has quite big flaws if you ask me.

The game has flaws in it, but it doesnt make the game bad. The game is still decent and is bad in areas but you have to get on with it and not rant about one thing or a few hundred (in pes5's case), its just a game, no need to kill yourself over it

i agree. if the game was perfect. they wouldnt have much to upgrade from (to pes6). It would just be boring and unchallenging if you kept winning on 6 stars against any team.

Shooting: When I press up + right when shooting that's where I expect the ball to go, not DOWN + right instead because that's WHERE THE FUCKING GOALIE IS STANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
when you press up to shoot it means you shoot to the left post not the top corner...duh

There are no flaws unless you are bringing in unfounded expectations to the game. If you play it for what it is, there's nothing to worry about.

As far as I can see, most of the issues described in the OP are very much player issues.

Maybe alot of what has been discussed in this thread is player issues, but the game does obviously have flaws, I don't agree with g33k with the game having big flaws, but it does have flaws nonetheless.

It's not a perfect game.

If someone wants to make a critism of PES in a constructed and coherent manner, then they should be able to.

Obviously alot of people don't critisize in this manner, and we end up seeing alot of repeated threads over this same subject, but to be honest, it's just as annoying seeing people showing blind loyalty and giving the same old "..go play fifa .."-esque comments.
