1st post.

Got the game this morning.Having been a die hard PES fan since day one I am disappointed.CBA to write a full review but anyone got any questions feel free to ask.

The worse thing about it is the lack of faces.Being a spurs fan it was great last season having the majority of the squads actual face on the game.Now other than a handful the rest are all default.Had a quick scan through other teams and loads of players that had a scan previously have now got a generic face.Very strange

To be honest mate I haven't tried.Did you download the update? I got all excited after reading the rumours that it would inc. 1000 real faces.Downloaded it and it hasn't appeared to do F all

I installed something offline, not sure what it was meant to be, and like you, I was all excited when it took a little while, I was thinking it was something major, but I didn't notice anything.....did you do yours offline or online?

So only 20 stadiums... lot of great ones missing, no santiago bernabeu, no nou camp.. seriously? And to top it all off no stadium editor at all, what??
No rain at all? really?
98% of faces are ridicilous, only some players actually look like they do in real life. lol

I haven't even tried pes 2014 yet, but so far some of these things are quite shocking considering we are in 2014... I really don't know how I can enjoy this game with such flaws even if the gameplay is amazing, which I have serious doubts about and even more so after some of the comments about ppl playing the full game.

I think I read somewhere that you can't do it this year. Guess it has something to do with pes 14 being made using a different engine.

Does it work? cause last time around pes13 worked online free for 3 months before they decided to force you to put online pass to play online.

I have the full game and would strongly suggest that people give it time. The game is something else compared to the demo because you simply play longer and there is a chance to build up play etc.! It actually took me a while to adapt to the controls even though I played the demo.

It all comes down to patience... good timing for tackles, contain, learning to dribble and be organized on the pitch. The thing I like the most so far is that you don't feel cheated against the COM as much compared to previous PES titles. Really great efforts from Konami this year.

It's not the gameplay that bugs me. It's the slowdown and frame rate issues. Does the final game still have them? I'm talking about ps3

I tried the game.
It has some good things about it, but a few things bug me... will have to play for a bit more to see.
The biggest and most annoying thing about it is the amount of "speeds" that the players in game have. This is one thing that Fifa has really well, and its that the amount of pressure you put to your left stick determines the speed of the player, hence you have alot of different speeds and can do alot of variety with that.
Now in this pes it seems you have even less usable speeds than in previous versions...
At least in previous versions you had:
slow: deft touch etc..
normal : LS
fast : sprint with RB

now you have :
slow: deft touch / LS
fast : sprint

theres no inbetween speed where the player actually runs in a normal pace, it is really really annoying me.

Can someone tell me if the patch makes things better? Adam said on twitter that it improves shooting and overall responsiveness? Can anyone comment on this?

Only got around to getting the demo last night. Is the retail version different. I was horrifed by the graphics in the demo, the commentary was dreadful, not so much that they repeat stuff but the levels are all different and are clearly taken from previous games (I know the demo doesn't usually have commentary). I havent really followed the development oft he game much this year and I was shocked at the way it looked. It plays quite nice and im sure it will take some getting used to the new controls and trick systems etc.

Also why is the cursor so slow to move when doing tactics, it takes an age to swap players around, can this be changed?
