Top 5 Strikers In the world

Two separate points Fab. I meant that a lot of your posts seem to be 'Adriano is great' etc...

Fisherman, You've blown this way out of proportion, I never said Adriano wasn't world class, and I never disputed that fact with you. Just his transition from the lethal finisher he was at Parma to the disappointment he was at the start of his Inter career was similar to that of Heskey's. I never said Adriano was shit or Heskey world class, just that his sudden transition reminded me of Heskey.

Christ, was it that hard to understand? How on earth you interpretted that as me saying Adriano was shite or that Heskey was amazing is beyond me.

Now answer the other part of my question, why bring this thread back up just to slander me about a comment that I made and you acknowledged about 3 months ago?

If you said , Adriano is like a brasillian Heskey at the moment, Then it would sound like you rate him but he is in bad form. But just saying that he is a Brasillian Heskey makes it sound like you fon't rate him.

After all you only brought it up when I said Adriano was better than Torres

Seeing as he was a Parma player less than 2 months before that comment and was only going through a bad spell after 4 months out, He was still world class in my opinion and Im not going to call every world class player who is yet to be 100% fit and recovered from his 4 month lay off, a Heskey.

If you thought he was world class, fair enough but make it more clearer because it sounded like you honestly thought that

Anyway I only brought it up because I saw another thread last night with everyone raving on about Adriano and it reminded me about that comment.

untangling the tangles:

1. LiamK made a mistake proposing Adriano was somewhat resembling Heskey
2. Fab and Fisherman went all over him
3. LiamK made that comment when Adriano had like 5-6 shitty matches where he missed many sure goals
4. After the Copa America, the end of last season and the beginning of this one I think it's undisputed Adriano is in top 5.
5. Everybody please relax
:D
BTW I'd rate Adriano right now as good as Henry and Ronaldo - in their current form. To be honest, he might even be better. The guy is natural with his head as well (unlike Henry and Ronaldo), not as fast as Henry, not a good dribbler as Ronaldo, but other than that...amazing.

Just for the record Gudjohnsen isn't in my top 25 list even.

My top 5 right now would be

1. Henry
2. Adriano
3. Reyes
4. Sheva
5. who ever you want......

Perhaps the last place would go to drogba as for IMo he's been pretty darn good as of late which is good considering how shit Chelsea have been. Adriano is doing well but all this premature ejaculation over him is kinda annoying. let's see how well he can keep this up and over how many seasons before we cream out pants. He's done nothing in my eyes except score a bag of goals but there are plenty of people that do that so until he wins some trophies he doesn't get my full approvalt just quite yet.

One striker im surprised hasn't been mentioned much is Samuel Eto'o, his on fire at the moment, 4 goals in 2 games, but i have liked him for several years now, i should have included him in my list..can't believe i forgot the explosive Cameroon star..
ive changed my mind on what i choose originally and my top 5 would actually be..

1) Henry
2) Shevchenko
3) Eto'o
4) Adriano
5) Ronaldo

I havn't added my five yet here they are in no particular order:

1) Adriano
2) Henry
3) Shevchenko
4) Rooney
5) Raul

I know there are some classics there but look at the Form of them all now, especially now that Shevchenko got a Brace on the weekend and Raul a Brace against Roma. As for Henry Rooney and Adriano i don't think i need to say more.

LOL @ anyone that put OWEN

i don't think so.

In no particular order: Sheva, Henry, Adriano, Drogba, Tevez.

I'm highly sceptical of RVN's real value to ManU, sure he's one of the best pure finishers in the game, but it sometimes seems that's all there is, he hardly creates any chances and most of his goals are from few feet from the goal. I don't think their goal totals would go down if they sold him.
