Transferring Option File To PS2 Tutorial

Hello im really stuck and need a jedi master like urself to baby step me on my jorney
1ST thank you for reading this message,2nd can you please reply by email plz plz..to [email protected] thankyou. I NEED HELP GETTING CORRECT STRIPS NAMES ALL THE STUFF ECT FOR PRO EVO 2008 ON PS2. Ive read your previous help guides ect i do not have a modyfieid ps2 but this pro evo update is all i need (all iplay lol) so can you please help me thank you obi WAN. Mark uk person in new zealand.

i've lost my max drive discs, i can only find my max drive usb stick. sigh
it can't be done without the little PS2 max drive disc can it?
it's probably wishful thinking but this guide: http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/cd2mem dosen't actually say you need a modded/chipped PS2, but i guess you do right?
EDIT: i found my PC software disc, but cannot find the PS2 one >.<

Should it take ages to 'uncrush'?
I'm trying - I tick the box next to the option file on the MAX drive, highlight Uncrush and the memory card, press X, it asks if I'm sure I want to uncrush it, I say yes and then it won;t let me do anything.
Is it broken or am I just impatient?!

You download the Option File, you need to have a Pendrive/USB Drive/Thumb Drive. Insert the option file into your Pendrive/USB Drive/Thumb Drive and then go to your ps2 and put it on the usb slot.
Open up AR Max and then go to max memory. Find the option file on your usb drive directory. Uncrush it to the memory card.

my ps2 won't read the max drive software disc is this just because my ps2 is fairly old or does it have to be mod/chipped?

can u download it on to ya phone like an optionfile then download onto the ps2 usig the usb conection

I got max drive option file, copied it to my usb stick already but as i plug it in to view the content of usb stick: it showed no files and usb's free space was 0 even i just copied one option files to a new reformatted usb stick
