I got it through the post from Shopto yesterday and now I have just finished completing the game about 40 minutes ago. Yeah I have rushed through but needless to say that I very much enjoyed playing through it. I played about 1 hour yesterday but I had only 2 hours of sleep that day and at work all day, I couldn't continue playing. Woke up about 10 this morning and I have basically played the game all day and I'm already thinking of playing through again just because it is such a great game although I might play online for a bit since I have got the hang of the shooting again.

Some developers should take a look at Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves' script. The dialog and interaction between characters once again is top notch. I got so hyped about the game I was worried that it was not going to reach my own expectations but I'm glad that wasn't the case.

The only thing I hate is getting caught up in the hype, watching all the trailers, demo footage, and other general information about the game. That would have made the game such an amazing experience. I played Drake's Fortune without knowing much and it was awesome.

Mine was post from Shopto on Tuesday - Still waiting. My brother got his copy yesterday and has been going on about how good it is. Damn and it's shitty Royal Mail service!

Yeah mine was also posted on Tuesday. I also got an e-mail from Shopto about the Royal Mail service and then given the option to change my delivery status to special delivery or something. The problem was I got this e-mail on Tuesday and read it a little too late. I then read my dispatch e-mail which said that I was getting it next day but I will still unsure due to Royal Mail. Turns out I did. :)

The achievements are mad fun to get in the game. Like if you jump in the pool at the top of the hotel you get "Marco!" if you jump in again you get "Polo!" lol

I might pick this up next Friday when I trade in lots of old games. Is it THAT good though? Bearing in mind I've not played the first and FIFA 10 is the only game where I'm comfortable using the analog stick, would I enjoy it?

I still use the D-pad on FIFA :/ but find using the analog stick easy on this. Enjoying it so far. The controls feel good & melee attacks are a joy to pull off. Not tried online yet.

Do you like any of the Tomb Raider series?

Haha, feel bad for those waiting on ShopTo, I ordered from Play on Thursday and got it this morning. Havn't played it yet though, but I expect it to be awesome.

I think Among Thieves is a game you can pick up and play even if you have not played Drake's Fortune. Sure it is a sequel but it both games feature 2 different adventures. Elena was introduced to Nathan Drake in the first game but nothing should hinder your grasp on the story. I would definitely rate this as one of the best single players this generation plus their is online that is also enjoyable.

PS. You should get Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Great game but Among Thieves is better in my opinion.

The thing that sucks is that my brother and I both ordered on ShopTo, both got dispatched on Tuesday, he got his on Wednesday, I am still waiting for mine :(

My brother has been saying this too. He loved the first one (as did I), but said that this second one shits all over that. Bold statement, that I can't contest, because I don't have the blinking game yet :angry:

ShopTo is usually good. I only got one game late and that was Mirror's Edge and I think that was a combination of both pre-ordering late as well as Royal Mail completely fucking up. I remember the post coming that day (Monday) despite the game being released on the Friday prior. I was about to complain to ShopTo about the situation but I remembered you can track it, so I looked it up and it said it had been delivered. My brother phoned up the Post Office to find out what had happened and turns out the guy forgot to deliver it. I ended up getting Mirror's Edge on Tuesday.

EDIT: I also started a new game on hard this time. I'm already in love this game.

I'm still not entirely sure that I like the online play, or the deathmatch side of it anyway.

I said it in the Beta and I'll say it now...

The maps are far too small for the grenades. They're far too effective as they can be tossed across pretty much the entire length of it at times. >_>

Deathmatches on this are too much "all-out" for my liking. I'll no doubt find an online mode I like with time.

It doesn't help that guys who are level 18 have guns that shoot 60 bullets at once compared to n00bs starting out with the bog standard stuff and no armour. :/

Offline is great though. And after 4 or 5 chapters, it has the makings of eclipsing the first one already. Without giving anything away, I like how there's been a couple of twists/headfuck moments already too.

I love the new Uncharted, and online is quite addictive. Only thing is I played someone who was level 44, how is that possible when the game has only been out for 2 days? Or does your beta rank carry over into the retail game?

On single player I have just
been bailed out of prison by Sully

It came out in America on Tuesday, but it wouldn't surprise me if the beta rank carried over.
