Stallone has now become the greatest Hollywood reductionist. Greater than Descartes or any philosopher of reductionist science or arts.

No more cute titles, complex serial storylines, no more of that. His new movie just cuts to the point. Its called.....Bullet to the Head.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy - between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

I'm sold. Great trailer. Got a real 'old-school' action feel to it, which is rare these days. Real shades of Under Siege in the set-up, and hopefully reminiscent of Die Hard in what I suspect is a botched relief attack.

Old-school action films are shit. They have done a lot of damage. All they did was glorify weapons and killing, while giving a distorted image of what real gun or pre-gun battles are like. I despise the one-man army scenes, where the hero kills 50 people, each dying instantly of a single bullet. Or people dying instantly from an arrow or a sword slash. Ridiculous. Some are fun, but not the wannabe serious. BarnDoor

They should leave RoboCop alone. As if there weren't already enough ideas or concepts to create new films.

Surely the army must be close to levelling your neighbourhood by now? When you are eventually brutally killed, please try and make sure its captured by TV cameras.

I live in a central part of the city. If anything happens near my area, it will probably be the final battle, which doesn't look far off.
