Their performance in The Confedration Cup carried a lot of weight.

The reason I said USA bout 30 was that I would expect "lesser" European teams like Poland, Ukraine and even Scotland to beat USA. Now if you include these countries that does puch a country down the rankings.

beat Mexico with their U23 national team.

you're wrong tho, i know what your saying about the politics of american soccer, i was a victim of this when players i knew i was better than would get picked for our state's select side, but now you can play for your high school, earn a scholarship and go play overseas. Ngyeun is a fine example of an american doing that, he now plays for PSV.

well that a bit of talking right out of your asshole there. On what basis do you make up there ridiculous comments?

As for our goalkeepers no they're not spectacular but I would say Friedel and Kasey Keller a few years ago were top top keepers.

I cannot disclosed my resource but please believe that im not making it up.

what talking came right out my asswhole./ please tell me something of their great accomplishment, titles, awards, etc.

Thanks.

you know how many players like you and I have been wasted because of this?

just trying let everyone know that this is a big rock on the road that is keeping USA from being like they are in everything else, No. 1

I was refering to the racial issue. I think that you'll find that it doesn't exist.

No I think he means, they beat Poland and drew against Scotland with a depleted line-up.

I've no doubt USA are a better side that Scotland.

I know what he meant and Scotland also put a second string team out on the most part but you are probably right that USA should be ranked higher, but I still think there must be 30 countries who you would expect to beat USA in international football.

I don't think that football is so cut and dry. There aren't too many teams that you would expect to beat england but somehow they manage to make diffuclt work out of everything. The international stage is a pretty even now. I think its the club level where you can make sweeping judgments like that.

Strange. They only qualified for the World Cup in a play-off. And besides Euro 2004 they haven't qualified for anything prior to that.

Lost to Belgium in the play-offs for World Cup qualification in 2002 after 18 points from 10 games, dropped only two points in Euro 2004 qualification and won nine out of their twelve qualifying games for this World Cup. Bigger nations have tended to slip up a little more but gotten away with it and the Czechs have twice been paired with Holland whilst England, for example, end up with three or so absolutely awful teams in their group - therefore earning sweet fuck all towards their rating in those games.

The rankings are still complete rubbish though.
