It's a common issue that many of us have gone through.
Refer to below to resolve:
You'll have to go into the game (PES2009) and run a manual download. After it has downloaded:
* Install the file you have just downloaded(accept all default settings)
* The system will then prompt you to save to your settings, select NO.
* Then exit to the main menu and select Edit>Load
This will then load the OF and once it has been done, you'll be able to play with Von's OF!!!
To 'The Muff'
It's a super option file, well done on the effort. However, while the away kit is spot-on, the 'Everton' and '1878' text on the Everton Home kit and BOTH goalkeeper kits is blue when this text should be white. Even the badge itself is not accurate to the Everton kit. It should look like the one from ARSENALD's Option File.

Yes that's correct only 64 mp3s maximum. Chants last a maximum of exactly 1 minute each in the game, anything recorded to last more than that simply won't be heard.
I know this was talked about a while back but just noticed it and im having the same problem, has there been any answers to this? I've tried downloading it to USB stick then into PS3 4 times and each time it doesnt work.

I have copied all the files over from the Option file, but i am still getting the message that its from a different version. This is when i am in the edit menu. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong ------ probably something really stupid!!!! I have tried deleting the edit file and re copying it but its still the same.

How do you run a manual download?
I am getting the same problems loading the new update. Did have update 1.02 before but now dont have anything as the new one doesnt work and its back to the original settings!

Instructions:
1. Unzip file using Winzip or Winrar
2. Copy 'PS3' folder to your flashdrive
3. Insert flashdrive into PS3. Go to 'Saved Data Utility'. Now click 'USB Device'
4. Copy ALL files from flash drive to PS3
For chants:
1. Copy MUSIC folder to flash drive.
2. Go to music on PS3 and select USB device
3. Copy all chants over
4. Create a playlist entitled KONAMI_PES
5. Add all chants to playlist
6. Enter game, go to edit mode, edit team and cheering stance. You should find your chants here

You need to go to 'download' in System Settings, after downloading you will then be able to use the option file..

Can someone tell me if Konami have released a second update ?
I have the earlier one for the earlier versions, think it was around November.
Just wondering if they have released another one;coz I like the option file I have and can do manual transfers myself.

Guys, i still cannot get this work...this is what ive done
- connected to net and the system said version 1.2 needed to be loaded. i agreed.
- looks like it installed itself but i went into sytem settings and clicked install which it did...took about 2-3mins
- then went edit - load, picked the option file and still got the same eror.
ive just spent nearly 2 hrs trying different combinations, deleting the sytem settings...allowing the sytem to reload the update etc etc
some of the prompts you mention above did not appear for me

im not a techo retard so this is driving me insane....any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.
