You need to be connected the net via your PS3. The update will be prompted when you start the game. All intructions will be given to you then.

I have installed 1.04 now, but get the same message as the others. Do I need to delete all files again ?

If you don't have Konami's V1.2 update then just use V1.03.

It looks like a great file i'm just wondering are the three missing Champions League clubs added?(Bate,Anorthosis,Aalborg )

And can someone post the Liverpool squad? I think promising players like Pacheco,Bouzanis,Flora and Bruna are far more likely to get into the first team or forge a good career rather than Lindfield and Ryan Flynn who will more than likely be lower league players in the future

And are the German League players unlocked or do you have to win something?

I have a question about the Bayern M. and Werder Bremen team. Is it correct that the names hasnt been corrected. Right now it has alot of names who isnt the real ones.

Yeah, just replace the old edit data with the new one and add any new kits/scans. Also, you should read this

If you are prompted to save the option file just as the game loads up, click no. Then go into edit mode and load the data. THEN save the data right after. If you already clicked yes and saved at the start when prompted, you will have to copy the 'edit data' file from your flash drive again

As for the changes to your BAL, there may be some but I'm not sure what they'll be (my guess would be a couple of name changes maybe) but I'm not really sure



Common problem. Here is the fix. It's in the first post:

Yeah, I kept Konami's and deleted my own

Players you unlock yourselves after downloading the file will not be named correctly

Yeah, Bayern and Bremen consist of mainly hidden/classic and international players

so in "classic players" there are also players not yet retired but if i want them in my ML team there will also real classics like pelè and maradona available in the ML... :S
sorry for bad english i think that is better to create the other players and leave in classic only classic players

If you are worried about players like Maradona or Pele being in ML, I have purposely not unlocked players like that because I don't want them showing up in ML

What problems are you having? Check out the instructions on the first page. If you're still stuck after that, post in here again, just be a bit more specific

I installed version 1.03 two days ago, it worked fine.

Now I updated PES 2009, and tried to update it, but I didnt get it to work, so I uninstalled the game, removed everything from version 1.03 from the system (yes, deleted every file for itself) :shocking: and now I installed the game again on the harddrive, started it up, updated to konamis version 1.20, and after that I applied the full version of 1.04 from here, I copied over all files one by one, like last time. But there was one file that said "corrupt data" on it, figured..well lets try without it.

Now it seems like its the Eedit 01 catalogue that is corrupted, so the teams inside the game are still named "north london" and such.

I tried to download the file again, but that cataloge is still corrupted when I try to copy it to my PS3 from savedata/utility.

need some serious help here... dont know what to do :no:

You didn't need to delete everything first. That may have been your problem, dunno. I don't know of anybody having constant corrupt data problems, normally re-downloading from a different source works. Are you editing the files in any way before trying to put them on the PS3?

You do, yes. However, I'm guessing somebody will upload the patch to the net at some point if it's possible

Nah, Konami didn't add Busquets, just Sanchez and Pedro, hence me leaving the created Busquets in
