Von Option File (V2.04 NOW ONLINE - 2009/10 Season Update)

Hi Everyone,

Having some trouble getting the updates to work for PES 2009..

I have copied all the data from my USB to the "Save Game Utility"
I have then started the game which attempts to update edit and stops halfway through say:

"Load failed because data is from a different version. Download content and update data"

So i'm totally confused now as to what i have done wrong and what i should to get the update file to work..

Any suggestions please ???

Apologies if this is a basic query but the image of a PS3 flying through the window is becoming more and more of an option lol.

HAVING SOME PROBS TOO MATE but u need to dowload the 1.20 version from konmai..

then go to SYSTEM SETTINGS > Download when in PES game

his name is enoh . and i thought , maby u can add him
and perhaps edit the faces of sulejmani and cvitanich
i'm not saying that ur OF is not good enough , i'm only missing the full glory of my fav team , if uknow what i mean

Ok i have the KOnami Update
version1.20... with the CL kits etc....

i then copy files from my usb to SAVED DATA UTILITY
and upload game, when it promts to overwrite Edit Data , say no but then load edit data...

but for some reason it still wont work..
chants work but nothing else, no crests or kits or even proper names for teams

i have followed all the steps to put the option file in the PS3, but the step where thedit data is suppose to load by itself, it is NOT. i have made sure every file in PES2009 is deleted and have copied the edit data file from my usb to the PS3. it just wont load by itself. I go to the edit on the main screen to load it, but it says there is no data. What is Wrong? On the system setting screan at the bottom i did earlier in the week install game data, is that the problem. Should i hvae not dont thata
Please help i ant to play this game with all the real teams and badges, and start my Master league

Sounds like you either haven't copied the data to the right place or you haven't overwritten your previous edit data

hi mate

yeah, i copied all kits and faces from your file onto a usb stick and transfered/copy them into SAved data utility.... then when i load game, there is no differance..
Arsenal are still NOrth london for example and no kits..

yet the chants work perfect, i can add the chants to each team,
i have a diff OF that i got for a mte of mine before i bought a ps3 today, and it worked perfect for him...

do i copy everything inc the EDIT DATA, or just all the kits and faces.
and not the sys or edit data

You need to copy everything in the file, edit data, kits, face scans etc

just figured out i need to download the new konami update before v1.05 works?
is that right.

i have another OF here, that i dont need to do that, so maybe il just use that.
anyone know where i can d/l the konami update, from my laptop via usb, as ps3 isnt online yet to use internet on it...... really would prefer to use this OF

Yeah, you need Konami 1.20 for the update to work. If you have no way of getting the Konami patch, you can use the edit data from my 1.03 file and then the kits and faces from the most recent file

No Zidane, Baggio etc, I don't want them showing up in ML. I have unlocked all the currently active hidden players though

Regarding Byern munchen lineup, even in the formation/starting lineup they are all over the place not only in the eidt mode.

That's strangem, I edited the formation, lineup etc :s Doesn't really affect anything but still, it shouldn't be like that

One more thing.
I have 1.04. It works good.
I downloaded 1.05, not the whole file, just the extra features in the 1.05 update.
Now how do I install it?
After I copy all the files to the HDD, what do I do then?
Do I have to install anything?

To install just the update, you have to do it exactly the same way as before, copying the files from the flash drive. Only difference is there are less files to copy

You need to go to 'Cheering Stance' to set the chants to specific teams

when i go to save data utility on xmd it says there is no save data in my usb device. I can get the chants no probs and the faces. But when i put the kits into the pictures section they still come out with the chequered background that cant be changed, also the England League team names are still the old ones i.e North London instead of Arsenal. Could someone please give me a step by step guide to what i'm supossed to do. Thanks

You need to put the kits in Saved Data Utility, not pictures

Von you have the best file around!?! how about creating 10 championship teams in League B. I will help with kits etc and even squads. Then if people want they can move them in la liga for a full english option file.

Come on Von your file is already great but lets make it the file that everyone wants.

It's pointless aiming for the English ML thing because League B teams can't be used in ML/BAL

Am I right in thinking all i need to do is
a) get Konami update, to do this I need to get my ps3 linked to modem for internet access, then go to system settings in PES, and download .
then b) copy all the files from my flash drive inc EDIT DATA, All Faces and Kits but not the system data.

then load PEs and there ya go?

I used to always make patches for ps2 PES a few yrs back but only got a ps3 yday and pes, as i lost a bit of interest over last year or so, so forgive me for being a rusty.... i have read all the pages on this thread... i mean ALL...

my chants work pefect but no kits, names etc...
so i need to get the Konami update first... and thats what my prob is..

so if i attach the internet connection to ps3, and get system settings, then pes then download, i should be sorted????

When you're PS3 is connected to the net and you load the game, you'll be prompted to download 1.20. Then after it's done and the game loads, go to System Settings > Download and you're golden

can i download the patch 1.2 from the internet instead of downloading it directly from my ps3? I cant get the internet on my ps3 working

I'd have thought somebody may have uploaded somewhere, I just have no idea where :/

I think Babel looks fine. Alonso is awful though and when I find a decent appearance, I'll change it

Sounds like you haven't gone to system settings > Download

That's strangem, I edited the formation, lineup etc :s Doesn't really affect anything but still, it shouldn't be like that

I think Konami made a mistake with Arsenal they switched the first team and reserves around. Gallas is great!

Yes I've thought of it Muffman!! You need to make yourself in the game. I don't think peeps will mind that!

Oh and can you do Hamburg, I like that team, and seeing as I am the greatest person in the world, it is a must do.

Also are you able to do International teams? If you can then man will you get requests! Afghanistan is a must do, I've got a few names for you DeMarcus Beasely, Brian McBride, erm... Brad Friedel, Bobby Convey, Eddie Pope.

Yeh now go to "System Settings" and then "Download" and then go through the download process!!

After that put into the PS3 Von's OF and then when you start the game it will promt you to install the new Edit File, click no and then go through to "Edit" and then "Load" and then find the "Edit File" and install that and then save that!!

And there you go, you have officially installed Von's OF like Afghanistan installed American Troops! Only in a few minutes, hahahahaha, I'm SOO funny! Yes I am. Indeed. :angry:

I have the same question. The instructions on the first page state
