Downloading the game is illegal as you haven't bought it. Patching a game is when you change some of the original games code. This should be done to a copy of the original that you bought. To make copies for your own use is not, as yet, illegal.

Just make sure you buy the game and then you can patch it as much as you like!

It's shawdy, with CM4, pretty much all ym mates have an illegal copy, it's just poor, not as if they can't afford the full price, thankfully illegal PS2 games are harder to create personally, so hopefully my mates will support Konami for a PES3.

I have a work colleague who is a huge fan of WE/pro evo but doesn't see anything wrong with downloading/copying these games, rather than paying for them.
Personally, I enjoy pro evo so much that i think i owe it to konami to pay them for making such a fantastic game. If everyone had pirated copies of WE/pro evo then Konami would simply stop making it.

The best non-sexual things are Jack Daniels and Marihuana, PES3/WE7 is on 3rd position officially . The problem is that you cannot pay for the game because it will be released in November and is officially not existing now. But I think most of the poeple will buy the original game too, I´m going to buy the PC version which will be much cheaper in Germany.

I have the ps2 version, but if they release the pc with online play then i'll have to buy that too!

That´s right, but I´m not to sure about the patching stuff, it seems to be not quite legal, because in official forums like pesfan you are not allowed to speak about patching.

larsson well done for clearing that up.... its pathetic if you can mod a game in interesting ways.. i love making pro evo official.... they shouldnt try and spoon feed us the crap that they call FIFA then should they!!!

I think modification is obviously no where near as bad as downloading an illegal iso image of the game or copying the cd or even the dvd of the game!!! You are not damaging anything by putting official kits and players and teams.... no one is making or losing money so i think the banning of mods would be awful...

its because konami dont have the licences, and obviously the patchers dont have the licences. so its still illegal, only its copyright infringement rather than illegal downloads.

Yep ash ur correct its designed so that you can use ur memory card for millions of saves and get around the 8mb limitation of the memory cards.. I personally think its excellent...... I dont own one yet but watch this space...

why would sony allow other people to scam them of money like this, we all know what theyre like
