I've given up messing around with the settings. It seems that at the moment, I can't achieve a locked 60 fps. So, for now the V-sync setting is set to "2" and most of the time, it achieves the 30 fps target. Stuttering occasionally when driving at high speed.

I doubt that I'd buy a Ubisoft game on the PC anytime soon after this. I think their games tend to run better on consoles.

My biggest gripe with the game is money and the in game economy, mainly because there is none! The only thing you can spend money in really is different outfits (technically the same but with different colours, think Assassins Creed dyes) and weapons. They really should've included the option to buy new phones, say for example your phone doesn't have enough memory on it or perhaps over time your phone gradually gets slower and worn out so you have to buy a new one.

It's odd that Ubisoft constantly showed how you can access peoples bank account and take our their money at the nearest atm yet there's so little to do with it and no real consequences from your action.

From what I've been reading it doesn't matter what da fuck you try and play this game on, it runs like shit, especially the driving aspect.

I'm going to put this on the back burner and maybe pick it up on sale for €20 in a few months if I even bother at all.

Yeah. Even people with dual GPU setup are struggling to run it on locked 60 fps. Honestly speaking, I should have pirated this game and test the performance, rather than rushing out to the store to get a physical copy.

That's two Ubisoft PC games that I am not happy about. The first is Assassins Creed 4. If what I've read is true, it is also unoptimised because it only use one CPU core rather than utilising the rest of the CPU cores that your PC have. No wonder it is only running on 30 fps on my rig, despite having turned down other settings.

I'm running an i7 4770k and GTX 780 with 16GBs ram and I'm reading it only looks slightly better than the PS4 version and will still stutter and have a lot of pop.

I might pirate it aswell, fuck that. if I like it I'll buy the full version for the online features.

Finished the main story. Much better than I expected, I'm excited for where they're going to go from here. I'd like to see the next game have a different main character though as Pierce is quite bland and rarely shows any emotion at all. Although that might just be due to poor facial animations.

I'm on the last mission, only attempted it once but it seems daunting what you have to do. Seems like some really repetitious shit. Hate the police on this game. Any tips for disabling the choppers while in a car? Always have to get out to fix the camera on it.

I just got this last night for free off a mate who had it already and got a 2nd copy free with his GPU. Do you think it's worth my while starting it or is there an update due anytime soon?

Anyone play this on PC, exactly how bad is it?

Crazy how good those screenshots look, shame can't do anything similar on consoles. Would love to see the depth of field back in the game.
