I find the difficulty levels to be ridiculous.
3 star is a joke. The CPU is braindead and offers no attack and their defenders just stand around as you dribble past them.
Moved to 4 star and now there are at least 7 CPU players within the screen at all times. Meaning they are far too aggressive. But I cannot punish the CPU for this aggresiveness. If I try to switch field and take it down the opposite flank it takes forever to get the ball over there and the CPU rotates over and protects with 7 again. They send 1 man to hound the ball and then the rest step in front of your players in all your available passing lanes.
If your own CPU players made more runs or stepped in front of the defender it would be okay. They did all this on 3 Star. On 4 Star my players are now the ones who are braindead.
Konami, this is not how you make difficulty levels.
If my CPU controlled players AI was as smart as it is on 3 Star on 4 Star level it would be about perfect.
I find the CPU to apply way too much pressure on the ball on ALL parts of the pitch on 4 star. Which like I said before would be fine IF you could move the ball about quick enough. Seems like the players running has all sped up but the passing speed is still the same.
So what I end up doing on 4 Star is battling for possession all over the place and that is about it. With Borrussia M vs. Sparta Prague I have 3 shots to their 7. I spend the whole time playing grinder football.
Where is the Joga Bonita?
