Finally!

Great news for me and Suff, and of course the fans of this blog. We’ve finally managed to commit the guys over at Konami UK to a set date to playtest PES 2009 - Monday August 18th! It’s pleasing that we will be able to play the game a few days before Leipzig, and also the fact we’ll be able to spend all day with it too.

Another BIG bonus is that Konami will allow us to talk about the gameplay! So expect a huge podcast Monday evening. Unfortunately no videos will be allowed though, but it wont be a huge loss seeing as Leipzig hits a few days later.

So a huge thanks to our friends in Konami UK for sorting this out, especially when they are extremely busy sorting out Leipzig! So, until next week! ;)

Yeh, the downloads just pauses and you just carry on from where you left off.

Also, you can't play online (LIVE) during downloads. If you do it just stops completely. It sometimes stops during single-player too, but if you press the guide-button and go to active downloads there should be an option to continue downloading.

I'm not even gonna bother until the day it comes out, last year i went to so much trouble getting the demo which was dissapointing then the game was no better, though if they are letting em mention about gameplay it must be decent

Well according to the guys doing the playtest in the 18th they wont be able to give out their impressions until 2 days after the 20th!

But hopefully all this waiting will pay off!

20th mate. That's why they can't post their views till then. Embargo lifts on 20th ;)

So lets hope they release the info Wednesday 12:00am ;)

EDIT: Also for the record, PESFan are getting a playtest tomorrow. Apparently they're also under NDA but lets hope we get some leaks ;)

I hope so. So today we will maybe get some info. I hope they're positive. I never remembered that I was waiting so much for a pro evo game.
