Dear PES players,

After I played the Demo of PES 2019 I was more exited then ever. I play the serie since PES 1 so it says alot for me. PES 5 and 6, the best soccer games ever created, was finally being equaled..

After playing the demo, I instantly bought PES 2019 legendary edition, and bought 30 euro worth of MyClub coins for a nice start of this new exciting MyClub season.

What a mistake did I make. All the amazing gameplay from the demo, whith the amazing balance on the midfield and finally being able to defend in a way that was realistic, has totally disappeared! Players only covering air, not marking there opponents, or shocking as soon as you switch to them to defend your opponent.. taking controll of the midfield by high anticipation play, battling for every ball to take controll over the game... it is pure shit.. I'm already done with the game

Did anyone else feel like this? And does anyone has ANY idea why they did f*ck up defending like this? After being so good in the demo?... I just can't understand this. After the demo I thought PES 2019 was alot better then PES 2018 but now I think PES 2018 was probably better in everyway.. What a dissapointment.

i never play demo, as it is always another game.

According previous version, they will fix in update. But the bad news is, after fixing, the game will become even worse

They patch it up because the kids who get the game complain its too hard, they would rather try to retain the kids than the loyal pes players like us.

This game is essentially an unlicensed FIFA, only interested in MyClub coins, how foolish of us to expect something else...

I think they implemented wrong the stamina feature. Players who remain without stamina are no longer running and covering spaces so it's impossible to defend as when you select them they are not where they supposed to be, the same when you attack. It is a huge problem when playing against an opponent with slightly better team as you lose stamina faster then him and in those few minutes you get crushed as some players simply stop running. That is made even worse by form system. If you have a player in red arrow form his stamina much faster so he is on red from minute 20 and he is simply walking on the pitch, you can run with him when you select him but when not he is no where. I think this is implemented in the core of the game and is hard to fix with a patch. Maybe using players with higher stamina would help but that means you can't use great players just because they have low stamina. Like the Beckham scanned from real life with 66 Stamina. Sad

Game is still based on attackers and that is the main problem cause core of the game allways sending information that ball should stick to attacker in that pinball situations but in real life we cam see different things where 94 overall Ronaldo cant score a shit and he even cant pass those mediocre italian defenders with 77 overall! So the Demo was great, cause that was REAL STUFF in Demo, that defence was the best since pes6, and now they change it cause they just want to be like Fifa and earn some cash from myClub coins... sorry guys but PES as we knewed is dead, from now on we will get only commercial rubbish... regards...

Best PES I've ever played. Way better than last years AI-TikiTaka bore fest. Graphics a million times better. More licenses.

The game appears to be a bit faster than it was in the demo, so I reduced to game speed -1. Otherwise, all good for me.

Same here.. to me it's the best PES to date. Yes there are things to fix offline as this is were I play but the foundation of the game is there and it I enjoy it a lot

I also strongly have this feeling, and I think they are making a big mistake by thinking like this. Because I'm sure that ALOT of players are really experienced players who prefer a nice sim like gameplay. Why they don't let you choose between 'Arcade' or 'SIM' gameplay? With in SIM slower gameplay,, harder to place shoots in the goal etc etc.. solution really don't seem to be that difficult...

Well yes I tried to play Master League with decreasing the speed I did like it alot more altough the highest level legendary can be a bit annoying coming from the side with a passing passing game and score while feeling a bit helpeless, but I'm not talking about that it's more about the online play.. you can't put the game speed down there right.. and aside from that I feel alot more is wrong other then that,..

look, pes 18 is not very different than this PES 2019, it's the same trend. The identity of pes stopped in PES 2017. In 2018 production was moved from Japan to UK and the game was made much more similar to FIFA to attract the crowds. Probably they hired a lot of people who were fired from EA, since not all Japan programmers wanted to move in Europe. Now they continue the trend, they inserted featured players(in a bad way), they destroyed advanced shooting, nerfed the knuckle shots, etc. The defending part of the game was destroyed at pes 2018 not now. IN PES 2013-PES 2017 you wouldn't win / loose online so often with 7-0 8-0 like it happens in PES 18 - PES 19. If you want to enjoy the game just look at the good parts: stunning graphics in 4k res. compared to pes 2018, the online co-op 3 vs 3 mode which is great, new player skills, some new animations, and transfer updates :) it's a DLC of 60 EURO =)))

I agree that PES 18 is not very different than this PES 2019. I also liked the 3v3 mode

TBH, I never lost a match with those numbers bro, my rating is around 800 so I have to play pretty decent players but these scores don't occur so I can't agree on you on that.

And about PES 2013 - 2017, tbh I think except for PES 2017 these games where not so good at all, that's why I played FIFA in that period, a game I did never even really like.

Also I don't agree that the gameplay of PES today is simular to that of FIFA, PES is still Much more fluid.. I'm also not even that unsatisfied with the game, but there are some really big irritating factores like the defense and easy finishing in the same way all the time.. or the ping pong effect on midfield that downgrade the quality of the game alot, which is a shame..

I am a pes loyalist, back to the ISS Pro days (not even played fifa since the start of pes). The worst thing about this game is the lag cheats. My internet isn't the best but its good enough. I've played people in different countries and the game has been fine and then i've played someone in the same region and i can't do anything, and the thing that pisses me off the most is Konami don't seem to want to do anything about it. I report everyone now, where as i used to let it slide. But surely if my connection is that bad then the gameplay would be bad for both players????

There are elements of PES 2019 I really like and some that I find so'ooo frustrating.

1) Free Kicks
2) Latest Face Scans,
3) Licences for leagues, teams & stadiums
4) Increased Memory slots to help keep game looking official.
5) Delay in advantage play after being fouled - Great addition.

Dislikes
1) Over-scripted attacking by AI - I can usually predict when the opposition is going to score, as soon as a 62 rated player does a Cantona style pass with the outside of his boot.
2) Still a "STICKING" issue with defenders - although not as bad when game was first released.
3) My players' positioning AND heading ability when crossing the ball in to the AI's box.
4) Players who have a high speed rating still being out paced to a loose ball by a player who has a far INFERIOR Speed.
5) Not being able to boot the ball after the whistle blows for half or full time.
