Even though it's ancient it is the best F1 game ever. It's a shame Geoff Crammond has fell out with the developers and there probably won't be a follow up with new cars, rules etc.
Great, great game, truly brilliant.
The fact you have to watch tyre/track temperatures and fuel and someone being a 10th of a second faster through Becketts and altering your setup for the infield section at Hockenheim but keeping speed on the straights and so forth. Will there ever be another F1 game that comes close?
With the next gen consoles you'd hope so......

I'm currently enjoying Moto GP, PGR, Table Tennis, Fight Night, PES5 and of course Grand Prix 4. It's better at my uncles gaff though cos he has a Ferrari cockpit and Momo steering wheel. Thats dedication.

As usual my gaming is always changing.
Got a cheap copy of Tony Hawks 4 the other day in anticipation of Project 8, just to brush up on the old skills. So hammering that at the mo, also got the logitech wheel set up for Gran Turismo 4, forgot how good that is. And the motorcycle equivalent gets a lot of hammer when one of my mates comes round, Tourist Trophy. Not bad at all. Especially on one wheel at 140mph down the Grand Valley straight. The GSX-R 600 (RM) is the daddy.

Us hardcore gamers who can't afford the likes of new consoles and games all the time have to play the oldies while we wait for our finances to improve. That's what makes us hardcore.....

P.S Forgot to mention PES5, but do I need to?

Back to MTW, rome kinda bores me now. Alexander was good for a while but that got stale pretty quick. I'm just enjoying killing men, slaughtering prisoners and raping whole populations, as we all all love doing
