Going on Fifa for a bit. I'll see how long my patience can last until, hopefully there's no quitters.

I was playing FIFA 09 today and had some good online games. The first game won 3-1 after going 1-0 down. The second game I won 3-0. The third game I lost 3-0.

I played a 4th game and the player's connection was terrible. I should have quit as soon as the signs were there but I didn't until it was the point of no return. I have never played a game of FIFA with the connection that bad. Anyway, I managed to hold the fucker for a 0-0 draw at full-time but the bastard scored in extra-time. I managed to luckily come back not long after to equalize. Not long after that I scored to make it 2-1 which is when the guy quit on me. :D

I played another 2 games after that. Winning the first 5-0 and the second 2-1 in extra-time - that was after losing the first goal again but I managed to come back at him and win.

First time I have played the Xbox 360 in awhile since mine got the Red Ring of Death and I still haven't sent it to be repaired/replaced so I have borrowed my brother's friends X360 which barely works. You need to keep ejecting/inserting the game you want to play for about 30 minutes before the console is able to read it. Once the console acknowledges the game you need to install and play from the hard drive or else it will just cut out. :(

World Snooker Championship 2009

Ugh. I came ever so close to making a 147 break yesterday afternoon. I'd already potted 9 reds and 9 blacks. I knew after about the 5th red that it was on. When I played the 10th red, it was almost touching another, but I knew it still went into the corner pocket. The path of the white would've naturally hit the cushion just to the side of the jaws, and got me on the black again. I potted the red, but the white hit the other one it was next to, and rolled into the pocket.

There was still some way to go after that, but the reds were in decent positions, and I was feeling quite confident of doing it. Annoying.

Started again on BioShock, this time, on the hardest difficulty with Vita Chambers disabled. BioShock is such a quality game, and it is an instant classic in my opinion, easily one of the best games I've ever played. There is a difference now that I've upped the difficulty though, it seems that the splicers and big daddies can take a lot more punishment etc.

Loving it.

World Snooker Championship 2009 - against Mark Selby, Crucible qualifier, best of 3 frames. This is crucial. I've beaten him before.

Sacred 2 on the PS3.

I like my hack 'n slash and there is a considerable lack of them on next gen.

I've been playing over 16 hours and have still only done less than 10% of the main story and visited around 10% of the map. It's quite frankly, huge!

It also has the honour of being a proper open-world map. You don't have to follow the story. In fact, there is even a free roam mode where the only quests available are the side quests and there is no shortfall of these.

The characters you can choose from make a nice change from the norm as well. Controls asre good, visuals are good, sound is excellent with some good atmospheric music.

If you like RPG's (or hack 'n slash that needs some thought regarding character development) then I can seriously recommend this.

Put it this way, it's kept me off UFC & Fallout since Friday.
