You'll probably find you're in the minority who thinks that. With regards to Portal 2 that is.
I saw that they're offering an upgrade from the standard ps3 edition to the PS4 turbo edition for just over £3. I might go for that even though I played the hell out of the standard edition.

Finished the main campaign of Donkey Kong Country Returns, good stuff. Not gonna 100% it (ie collectibles, mirror mode etc).
Moved on to Wario Land: The Shake Dimension. Hand drawn and animated by Production IG (anime fag company) this game is a joy to behold in motion, it's like playing a cartoon.

I tried playing NBA 2K14 over the weekend. I couldn't get into it. I didn't even complete one match. I'll try career mode, if it has one, but I don't think basketball video game is going to be my thing. I remember liking NBA Jam on the SNES and NBA Street (?) on the Game Cube, but that's about it. Probably because they were more arcady and I'm not really a basketball fan.

The Be a Player career mode is quite good - Quite fun going from draft to to player to star player.

That's what I'm hoping. There was a similar, but limited, career mode in NBA Street Vol 2, so I'm hoping NBA 2K14 to be much better.

besides FIFA the only other game im playing is Gran Turismo 6, got me a Logitech G27 wheel. super good fun. Had a holiday at Abu Dhabi and went to ferrari world, had a go a the ferrari f1 hydraulic simulator and it really isn't the same anymore. Going to invest in converting my office chair at home into clamping on a recaro seat.
The NBA2K series is quite simmy, not one to easily pick up and play as it has such a different rhythm. I don't have enough time to play more than x2 games...oh and Alain use to pump me all the time online.

Batman: Arkham Origins - It's very similar to City, so much so that it basically feels like a copy + paste job with much of the city. They changed the controls for one of the shoulder buttons for no reason which makes things awkward but I've just about got used to it.
Story's decent even though some of the villains are made to look like bitches. Best new feature of the game by far is the detective missions where you try and reconstruct and solve crimes.
