What games are you waiting for?

Yeah the controller issue is a bit concerning, but it's likely due to a weak Bluetooth signal being used to try and save battery life. I fully expect it can be boosted in a firmware update and will be sorted by the time we get it in our hands.

Snipperclips looks fun, might get the demo and then try it with my family when I go round and if they like it and I think we'll play it often, i'll buy it!

I actually like the grey, it was what I intended on getting but had a last minute change of heart :w00t:

At least you can get different colour joy cons in the future to mix and match and what not.

Some of these indie games look fantastic. Everyone I look there's more and more that grab my interest.

Which ones are you talking about? There are plenty of indies i'm planning on buying :)

Post launch, the next retail game i'll be buying is LEGO City coming out 7th April.

Shovel Knight
Stardew Valley
Old Time Hockey
Owl Boy

To name a few. Although I don't want to be jumping into loads of different games at once or have a huge back log so will probably buy them as needed.

My main priority is Zelda, Binding of Isaac (whenever it comes) and MK8 (in April).

I will be getting snipperclips to play with the girlfriend and maybe 1,2 switch if I can get it for a decent price.

I've gone from this:

Going cheap to start with:

Neon Switch
Zelda: Botw
Travel Case

Fast Racing RMX

Tempered Glass
USB C to A Cable
Micro SD Card 128gb

Owl Boy hasn't been announced just yet, but yeah it's something I want, as is Enter the Gungeon. There's a Nintendo Indie video being released tomorrow which apparently may feature a couple of new games :excited:

Ah yeah, Enter the Gungeon thats another one I like the look of. Tbh I've seen quite a few rumoured indie games coming to switch I cannot remember what is rumoured and what is coming haha.

Not long to go now. Tesco better deliver it Friday - I know they're not great for launch items but I saved £30 so I'm happy with that.

Another game announced for launch with only 3 days until the day, this is fucking ridiculous!

Voez (Taiwanese rhythm game) will be launching on March 3rd for around £17. This is a port of a f2p mobile game which I downloaded last night and was hooked on straight away. Ended up playing it for around 2 hours when I was supposed to be in bed! This will be a pay for release with all songs available, no f2p mechanics or paywall for new songs, new modes, exclusive shit etc, this launch is fucking pricey for me!

Oh man! My poor wallet!

Spoken with tesco customer service who say my console will be despatched Thursday via DPD. Thank God it's not yodel.

Less than 24 hours! A game that was only announced in the last few days for launch has gone straight on to my Day 1 purchase list!

After playing this on my phone for about 5 hours in the past few days, this is a game i'm grabbing. F2P on mobile with paywalls, weekly song rotations etc, but the gameplay is ace and UI is excellent. Think it'll be £18-£20 at launch, but can see myself playing this for months, bloody damn addictive rhythm games! Anime stylings and Japanese/Taiwanese music may not be to everyones tastes though.....

Over 100 songs each with 3 difficulty modes. Im unsure if i'll ever be good enough for the top level stuff, but easy is great fun, and hard is enough of a challenge!

Switch dispatched from Tesco (although website hasnt updated to say that)
Zelda dispatched from shopto
Pro Controller being dispatched from Amazon today
Case from shopto has been delayed until end of march - seems there's shortages everywhere.
USB C to A Cable & Micro SD Card 128gb both sat here on my desk.

Zelda, Snipperclips, Fast RMX and Shovel Knight to start with. I don't want too much at once but I think Zelda is going to take up the majority of my time tbh. Binding of Isaac at some point this month and MK8 next month.

Thinking of getting a hori switch stand and extra charger so if I go away I dont have to take dock out from behind tv.

Breath of The Wild does indeed appear to be as adored and critically lauded as OOT was in its day. Admittedly I was more hyped for the former as a 12 year old, but I still can't wait to dive in to it tomorrow!

Mines arrived controller too but I have nothing to play on it haha

Edit:

It looks fantastic, those neon colours are better than i expected tbh.

Screen is bigger than I had imagined as people were saying its quite small. Update didn't take long.

Yeah I had seen that over on neogaf.

Downloaded fast rmx and snipperclips which took a while on shit work internet.

Fully updated switch and then stuck zelda in and updated that. All took a while due to shitty internet but have played around 20 mins in zelda just exploring and its really good although I must admit I'm struggling with controls atm.

edit:

oh and Zelda isn't easy haha
