Since PES was still ISS, i've always been a freekick-master, the powerbar for shooting always gave me an indication of how to shoot freekicks, but since PES 2008 or even PES 6 i have never been able to figure it out anymore. Taking freekicks now has completely changed, there is no consistency in shooting with different effects and speeds anymore. For example: when you used to hold the downbutton and pressed square the freekick would go with low speed, but almost always over the player's wall so you would only have to aim for the open corner, now that's not the case anymore.
Besides that I find it rather strange that the CPU seems to score freekicks easily with almost everyone, when you're not even able to that with the true freekick specialists, like pirlo, beckham etc.
