What one league would you like to see added for PES 2010?

If Konami were going to go all out to capture the licence of one league to add to PES 2010 what league would you want?

For me it would have to be the Championship. It would mean I could play as my beloved Sheff Utd and it would also make ML a lot more interesting in the first couple of seasons :)

Because Blade's views don't neccesarily reflect the opinion of others, maybe?

That's what the thread is for.

If I had a choice, it'd probably be the Championship, too. But only if it was used properly in the Master League, with the top 2 going up and then spots 3-6 competing in the play-offs.

I like your thinking! The Play-offs would make things a lot more interesting in the final few games of the season. :shocking:

They should include a play off system anyway, irrespective of whether they have the Championship licence or not.

Ok fair enough if you would like the Championship.

An idea would be to remove the Eredivisie to accomodate other teams. Instead of having 20 or so dutch teams why not just have the top 6-8 teams and then fill up the remaining places with Championship teams if there is a market for them.

My personal opinion is that it would be a poor addition when I think having the Bundesliga would have priority over a whole lower league. I would accommodate playing with even Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach far more than Crystal Palace and Doncaster Rovers. But I suppose your personal opinion would be the opposite.

Persoannly i wouldnt mind seeing the Brazilian or Argentina League, but apart from that i think the championship would be a great idea but sadly i dont think that will happen.

i think they should add the scottish league or bundesliga ... championship would make it like a english when its clearly an Asian game and with 2 english leagues that would be good but it would be better to have another league like german league or whatever

i think they should add the top 6-8 teams from championship in other leagues as well as the top 4-6 from brazilian league and the top 4-6 from argentina league and maybe just maybe top 2-4 from american league or watever league

be great if they had them and all fully licensed

Definately the good old English championship!
This could then be made so that the master league has two divisions premiership and championship!
However even if Konami cannot secure the official licensing i would see like to see the Bundesliga in pes 2010 as it features some quality teams!

Obviously, from a commercial standpoint, Bundesliga has to be the main focus. They've had it in the past, and it needs to return. At least put the teams back with fake names.

Personally, though, I'd like to see something we wouldn't expect, like Liga Sagres, maybe even the Jupiler Pro League and Russian England League, or one of the bigger leagues over here. MLS, Argentina, or Mexico would be interesting, because the formats are rather different from European leagues.

the argentine ligue is not much different than the european leagues, the top team is the champion, the only difference is two short tournaments instead of one long one and only one team is relegated

[EDIT]anyway back to the topic if i had to choose one league to be added it would have to be the german league

IRN-BRU Scottish Third division! would give us a few teams to turn over while getting used to playing the new game, But seriously I would like to see the SPL added, even if they only give us Rangers and Celtic licenced and the rest as fake players. Would shave a few months off editing for sure.

I also (still) find it amusing how when people try to write 'Russian P.r.e.m.i.e.r League' it comes out 'Russian England League'.

In Europe, I think that the German, Scottish, Belgian and Portuguese leagues would be good to add.

Why remove if they can also add? I don't see the need to remove the Dutch league if there's enough space for all these leagues!

It would also be interesting to add the Japanese league in there (shouldn't be that much work for Konami as they already create this league for the APAC release, I guess) and prehaps a LATAM league, such as the Brazilian league or the Argentinian league.

In addition, it would in that case also be interesting to add Japanese commentary and / or Brazilian/Argentinian commentary to get the full experience right.

Obviously it would have to be the barclays premier league, given the wording of your question you mention the license that you most want.

Why would anybody want the championship when pes does ot even have the proper premier league license?

Personally I would love the Championship so i could get Wednesday to spank Utd! but i think money wise german league as it would help to sell more games!

If the japan league is in thier version of the game then they should also put it in the other versiosn.

Does anyone know if any other versions i.e japan or usa have different teams?
